I don't know....I was really psyched about Boromir but the likeness is off in these pics....not what I saw from TF....or at least I think it wasn't....

That was my first thought when I saw the pics. The hair just needs to be a bit blonder.

Looks pretty good so far. I wasn't too impressed with initial production pics of Legolas but he turned out great, so I'm optimistic!

You are right there Paul.... Legolas was one of the best we've ever gotten from SSC, as was Maul...

Anyone on the wait list for it? I am. I'd like to find out if anyone's has converted and when you got on the wait list. I want to know if I have a chance of getting one.

I'm on the waitlist too... I signed up on October 20th, 2006. Same day I signed up for Legolas. He converted so I'm hopeful I'll have the same luck with Boromir.

As for the production shots... overall he looks pretty good. But it does feel like the likeness was never quite right with this one. However, in hand is always different. Lets just hope an exclusive makes it into my hands

Well, we'll know better once he's in-hand. Remember how the production photos of Legolas made him look a bit 'off'. I think this Boromir looks even closer to the prototype then Legolas did, so I'm expecting another winner here!

Now bring on Faramir...and announce some MORE figures!!!

I don't think they ever use production figures for TF and other shows. I know we were once told that the Anakin was production... but that was not the case. I wouldn't trust the photos from a show as an indicator of what a piece will be in hand.

I think he looks pretty good, though I still rue the fact that he didn't come with his fur-lines black cloak. I'll have to sew one myself it seems.
