Beautiful pics as always P1X4R :rock :rock

This thing is awesome!!

P.S. What camera settings are you shooting with to blur the background at that much? Is it an f/stop and shutter speed adjustment?

Use a very fast shutter speed and place your object a good distance away from your background. The more you Zoom in the greater the background effect will be I believe. Keep your F/stop as low as possible like between 1.8 to 3. This will keep your lens wide open!:D

very nice EXIF reader TOE! wow, it even shows the exact lens i used! which program or plugin is that?

the background blur is easier done when you have your subject a good distance away from the background. also, using a wide aperture f/stop on the lens as well but for most of these pics i set my f/stop high at f/10. the statue was quite a few feet away from the background (fence outside my backyard).

Thanks Rory! actually i was at the minimum distance possible with this lens which was around 3ft away. any closer and the lens would not focus.

Very cool. I know with my 100mm lens I have to be a good distance away or I won't be able to fit my whole subject in the frame and I will also have trouble focusing.

I have missed your pics Ed. You should post some more when you get some time. :chew

Wow, the clear one is definitely the one to get...awesome.
