I think it’s kind of funny that people are acting like they wanted this so badly now that it’s cancelled when previously it was being made fun of.

I personally kind of found it cool but didn’t want to pay the price, especially since I don’t have a regular Batmobile.

I wanted it from day one, but i tried to convince myself i didn't need it, because of the money, but i finally gave up and preordered it at a fair price i think, to be sure to not miss it... that turns out well...
But i never ever made fun of it!
It's so cool, in the movie and as a vehicle,and growing up with these movies,and loving the Burton's Batman so much, i could'nt not wanted it...

The deposit, sure. Who knows when it comes to the RP. Feel like that won't be happening. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I honestly don't see JazzInc doing this unless they've already stated otherwise. It's not a very popular piece.

The below was posted shortly after HT put it up for order. @JazzInc / Joost will need to advise if he's still interested.

HT is an unpredictable maker.
This is maybe the last vehicle I’ve thought they would produce.
I’ve got 0 interest in the Returns line but I have to admit that, next to the 89 Batmobile, it would be a sick display!
But it seems that Joost is also interested in making this version… The war is declared…

In the Jazzinc FB votes the Batmissile was on the lower end of votes and I can't recall Joost saying he was interested in it until HT made their announcement and prototype showing.

Do you recall the timing of that poll? If people assumed the Batmissile was going to be available from HT then it's understandable that it didn't get much support. I would think it would get a bit more support now, but that still might not be enough to make it a viable project for Joost.

Per Sideshow once they've confirmed the cancellation with HT, "you can expect to receive a refund of your deposit within 2 to 5 business days, although it may take up to 14 days for your banking institution to reflect the credit in your account. Additionally, any Sideshow Rewards that were redeemed for the canceled purchase will be automatically returned to your account.".

I still expect we'll be hounding them for our money lol...

I don't recall ever seeing the Batmissile as a poll choice in his Facebook group, but it's possible he'd already narrowed down the choices by the time I looked.

I didn't have this on order, but these once-unprecedented HT cancellations steadily becoming more precedented makes me nervous. Luckily the 3 things they've canned so far all fall into the category of "wait, they're seriously making that?" when they were first announced, but I'm really hoping these cases don't become any less rare than they already are. Most of the time it's great to see them going out on a limb and making something you wouldn't expect to see.

I had like a hundred bucks in rewards towards this also, just got the cancellation email from sideshow so we shall see where the deposit went off to.
I’m heartbroken this got cancelled this just means zero returns figures or zero future vehicles being released. At least I have my 1/24 model car but I’m curious how far they got into production with these , I would love to buy a store model
