Probably.

That black outfit is just classic. Much like Cyclops' classic outfit, his powers define the outfit. The jacket look was played out. Even Cyclops wore a jacket over his outfit for a while.

Im curious as to the process here. Do they resculpt the master? Cause if not don't they have to cast the master and then build off of that? So how is the sample so much thinner then the master?

Or is it more an optical illusion created by the larger base and a more gloss finish?
