what about the leather strap accross his chest from shoulder to waist?

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

great price by the way

depending on the cloth price this might be a reasonably inexpensive awesome custom!

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

I will scale it down mate on photoshp later tonight so dont worry i will make a big surface and scaled down on 1/6 scale
i am a graphic designer so this is gong to be easy

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

yes i just noticed that pattern is perfectly scaled
i will just make a big surface of tartan
does anybody knows the size and shape of the kilt?

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

About the kilt: go to www.spoonflower.com, guys. I just tried it, and it seems a good solution.

You can upload the tartan sample I posted on page 12, do a basis repeat for the layout, and choose fabric and size. You can also adjust the size of the design, so you can manually adjust it to something that would look like 1/6 scale (so that the rectangles etc of the tartan are in correct scale), there's a ruler on the side, so you can see how big the rectangles become.

(A good idea maybe would be to have someone who owns the Sideshow medieval Connor MacLeod measure out the kilt he wears?)

Price seems great too; for one yard one normal fabric, you pay 18$. There's a choice of fabrics, but I don't know which one is best yet. probably the one that is lightest and most light in weight...

Size of a 'Great Kilt' seems to be about 60 inches wide, 6 yards long.

I don't know how much that means in 1/6 scale (I'm a metric system kinda guy :) )

Here's how it looks and how you fold it:

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

I still think the sculpt is lacking in some detail. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see it painted up.

still has to be smoothed down and primed which u will see more detail

i test this out by showing my dad...i showed him on my cel phone before and said whos this? and he said without hesitation MEL GIBSON

thats a good sign....lol

operation was cancelled ughhh

Re: Freeeeeeeeeeedom!

It's definitely getting there, no doubt about that, but right now it could use some more detail. Gibson's face is not baby smooth, especially in Braveheart. Looking forward to this one still though.
