It is possible that the writers use of Skyler's increasing smoking and that ricin cigarette that Walt still has might be related.

There was a dicussion about this on another forum and the answer was, it's not a ricin cigarette. He just hid the ricin inside the rolled cigarette, it's in a glass tube, you couldn't smoke it and inhale it.

I loved this last episode.

The ricin payoff will be interesting.
Who do you think get poisoned?

Jesse
Skylar
Hank
Holly? if they want to get really dark :devil

Walt himself?
what if that "pill" he takes in the bathroom isn't cancer meds? It's interesting they filmed that scene twice, once with the pill and once without.

and I'm going to blindly guess that Gomie gets killed, possibly by Walt, in the season break.

Just conjecture but. . .

There's rumors that Gomie is a mole for Fring's cartel. . . or someone, I'm not quite sure, but the word on the street is that he's feeding DEA info to an outside party

Question.... Do you think it's in poor taste for Mr. Gilligan and co., that have turned their lead character Walt, who used to be very sympathetic, (almost empathetic), the somewhat anti-hero/good bad guy, into this dark cold and calculating capitalist? I only ask, because it leaves very little room for the viewer to care or root on the guy. The sole purpose of this show. In the end, everyone wants that feel-good pay off.

Either way, I love the direction this series is heading. It's spiralling out of control and is getting more intense with every passing episode. I am just waiting for either one or both of Mike and Walt to snap on each other or for Skyler to go completely off the deep end.

No! Vince Gilligan has always said that the goal of the show was the transformation of a good guy in a bad "scarface" guy!!

If someone told me the dad from malcolm in middle would be playing a hard ass drug dealer 10 years ago I would've laughed in there face. He's such a perfect fit for this role it's rediculous. I can't wait for next week!

yep, just watched the behind the scenes clips on AMC and jesse states that all ****s gonna hit the fan.:hi5::yess::thud:

just watched the last episode, holly **** was it epic and jaw dropping:thud:

So did i, not seen anything that had me on the edge of my seat so much in years!
the timing and paceing was spot on and the end came out of nowhere and left me speachless. bravo

It was foreshadowed, but the thing is I completely forgot about the opening scene until the kid showed up at the end. The episode was so intense made me completely forget the opening scene :rotfl

Honestly, I really hope that they don't do the "morality tale" ending. I'd love to see them get Walt to a point where the audience despises him and just wants to see his day of reckoning come, and it never does.

The only way the show could end 'positively' is if Hank catches Walt and arrests him and they put him in prison, but the chances of that happening are like 3,720 to 1.

But a "Shield-like" ending where Walt is the meth kingpin of the West Coast, meanwhile his family is either dead or gone would definitely be cool. . . it would suck, but it would be cool.

I'm thinking maybe Todd is going to kill Skyler, and Walt is just ambivalent about it, and the audience is forced to realize that Walt is officially over the line, beyond redemption. That would make a nice mid-season finale

I glimpsed over your post there so not sure if you all out just said how that show ended, but I'd recommend spoiler tagging that( I know this is a thread for another show but still) for those of us who haven't seen but plan to watch the shield.:peace

The ending, although surprising, was foreshadowed in the opening scene.

well most of the openings to Breaking bad would have to deal with something later on,
usually the openings don't have to do with that episode, or they do but not in the way we think, I was actually shocked that happened, I did not expect that kid to show up there,
I don't know, it seems obvious now, but I did not think that was going to happen,

now disposing of the body and what to do might be what sends Walter over the edge into darkness

well there is the Cancer that we can't forget about, I wonder if it will come back or not, if he will get sick,

There is an unwritten time limit on spoilers and The Shield has completely surpassed the spoilers timeline.

That's similar to asking someone not to spoil The Empire Strikes Back because you haven't had time to see it yet.:rotfl
