did walt laughing remind anyone else of joker last laugh scene from batman 1989 ?

I thought this exact same thing.

Yeah, walt was kinda a dic to jesse but walt was under a ton of stress if that makes it any better. Cancer, new baby, drug dealing. It can really get to you.

If you go back and watch previous seasons, you really start to notice how Walt treated Jesse like ____. . . all. the. time.

If I was Jesse I wouldn't help Walt, either. "He saved me from the dealers, I killed Gale to save him, we're squared up, now stop treating me like dirt." It's interesting how your perspective changes, when I was watching the show from beginning to end, I was just thinking "Jesse keeps ____ing up". . . now when I go back and watch earlier episodes I'm like "Jeez, Walt's being a douche, he's always yelling at Jesse and telling him he's useless". Also, remember that Walt essentially blackmailed Jesse into helping him cook meth anyways. I really don't feel bad for Walt anymore. He has totally created all of these problems for himself.

I just went back and watched "Phoenix", y'know the episode where Walt just stands over Jesse's girlfriend and watches as she dies and does nothing to help her. . . and steals the meth from him, and then blames HIM for it. . . yeah, I don't feel bad for Walt at all. :pfft:

:exactly:Well put. Dude is a douche, and his wife is an idiot. But I still can't stand Hank, lol.

I thought this exact same thing.

That's funny!! While the final image of Walt didn't recall the final image of Jacks Joker... His entire breakdown DID immediately conjure thoughts of Alan Moore's Joker in "The Killing Joke"; the Jokers explanation that every sane man is just one bad day away from lunacy... How at the point when he could not take it anymore, the man who would be Joker finally saw the world for what it was: a sick joke. And he's been laughing ever since.

But, no that you' ve pointed it out, the Jack Joker parallel is spot on too! Love it!!!

I think you misunderstand Walt completely

Walt watched Jesse's girlfriend die for Jesse's own protection. Two druggies with a bag full of cash was always going to end disastrously.

He knew that with Jesses's girlfriend out of the picture he could get round Jesse and make him see sense again, he could see how this girlfriend of his had brainwashed him and had become more important to him than Walt.

Walt treated Jesse like s__t because Jesse was always f____g up :dunno. Yeah I felt kinda bad for him but he did have it coming and remember they were running a highly risky business where f__k ups lead to them both potentially being caught and Walt having a family could not afford that

Wow I have finally caught up with you guys!

I have watched all 3 seasons and upto episode 11 now of season 4 and just wow!

This show is just awesome!!!

I am also kinda sad that we only have one season left after this but like others have said nice to go out on top form!

So anybody else think episode 12 will just be about intercepting that cheque in the mail? :lol

Walt actually needs $500k to pay the guy to relocate him and his family.

Also, the $7.5 million was his salary for an entire year working for Gus...it's only been a few months (3 maybe?) that he's been working for him.

So the $600k that went to Ted, the money spent on buying the car wash ($800k ?), Hank's medical bills, plus all the money they spend on Saul's services, I can see how there'd be less than the $500k needed stored under the house.

:lecture

Exactly

I'm watching the pilot episode on Netflix streaming right now. Lots of people have been telling me it's good.

Tis a great show, and filmed in my own backyard of Albuquerque. That Car Wash has been around for ages. Only problem watching this show with me is that I see a location and I try and figure out where it is in town.

I have been re-watching this lately on Netflix and there are SO MANY character flip-flops that I originally missed. I think the only characters who have remained consistent are Skinny Pete and maybe Walter Junior.

Also, Tyrus needs to die. Am I right?

I finally realized where I've seen Tyrus before. He was Kleavon on The Shield. Dude is one COLD mfer.

And I know just a couple posts earlier, I was lamenting on Gus' uncanny foresight. . . but him 'sensing' something was wrong with his car was pretty far-fetched for my tastes. I hope they're able to explain that, cuz I just don't buy it.

i think it was the fact that Jesse was insisting that Gus come down to the hospital if he wanted to talk to him. I also think the Gus got a feeling from talking to Jesse in the hospital that maybe he knew or felt that Jesse knew he may of had something to do with the kids poisoning.

Think the first point though is the most telling to me, at least that's what I felt when he didn't get into the car, was that he felt the whole thing was a set up.

gonna be a ____ing great season finale next week, sucks that it's going to be a cliffhanger that I don't know how i'm going to make it till next year:gah:

So excited for tomorrow nights finale!!! Have no idea where they will go with this :panic:

Bingo. Vince Gilligan said in a very recent interview that Gus was alarmed by Jesse making him come to the hospital, and then being very calm while talking to him. It was this that gave Gus and uneasy feeling, as if it was planned.

We just watched all 3 seasons on Netflix. I love that show and will watch season 4 soon. By the way this pizza scene had me laughing so hard. It was just so out of the blue. :lol
