I love that set, but there's no way in hell that I'm paying $225. Too many collecting duties right now, and, on top of that, I pay for Netflix monthly/you could get the Blu-Ray season sets of the series for like $90 total on Black Friday. Suffice it to say, I'm not saying that it's overpriced, but it's the set I've waited this long for, so I'd rather wait a bit longer and utilize my Netflix subscription until it's gone down in price.

But you won't get the alternate ending, or the 2 hour documentary.

But regardless, this will go down in price. Most likely around Christmas.

I placed my preorder of the set on amazon, it will definitely drop in price and you always get the lowest it went. Totally worth it and if you don't want it you can always cancel with no penalty.

No, I'm not saying I'm even considering buying the season sets; I'm going big or going home, but I'm going big a little later when the two hour doc and alternate ending aren't worth $135.:lol

Has the price been confirmed anywhere else besides amazon? They always jack up the price on initial preorder if they don't know the exact price because they have been burned before in the past by starting it really low. I have scored a couple sets that way back in the day.

Frankly, though, I think it's brilliant marketing. Especially when you consider the release date, they're getting this shiny new set out just in time for Black Friday. People will see the $225 price tag and think they're getting a bargain on one of the hottest shows this year. My point is that, since there's nothing to indicate that this is a limited edition, I might as well wait it out a bit longer.

Is it assumed that Hank recorded Jessie's call to Walt? As I was watching the scene I figured they had to be recording it. It would be stupid not to. Walt pretty much admitted to everything. I know Hank wanted to use the money as evidence, but wouldn't admittance to murder be even better for the case?
I was guessing it was recorded but that it was a physical recording that's on Hank or Gomez. Once their bodies are stuffed in barrels, pretty sure it won't matter.

We should all totally become investors in creating a Los Pollos Hermanos theme restaurant a lá the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company.:lecture You could serve all of the chicken and stuff from the show, but then have special menu items like the "Crazy 8's Bologna sandwich (with crusts removed, and available in the fried variety), and "Salamanca burritos (one having a light hint of blue raspberry rock candy within(optional, of course)); you could even serve Schraderbrau, and have Walt Jr.'s famous breakfast special (consisting of bacon (not the stuff that tastes like band-aids), eggs, pancakes, and a travel sized box of Raisin Bran crunch ("it says 'crunch' on the box).

I'd invest my money in that. :lecture

It needs to happen; somehow, some way. Hell, you can have replicas of Hector's Bell on each table, for when you're ready to order, and they can sell everything from Tee-Shirts to Pork Pie hats, and even miniature Los Pollos buckets that contain packets of Blue Rock Candy. I'm telling you, it's a gold mine.:lecture :lol

Sorta kinda already exists.
