Another band I'd recommend that has a similar capacity for emotional songs to connect with is Three Days Grace. They're a bit edgier than BB, but have some really nice stuff, especially their latest album, Life Starts Now. Check out "Bitter Taste" and "Last To Know".

Oooh, that'd be a really good show. Last time I think BB was in town here that I knew of, they were with Nickelback or someone that I didn't want to pay money to see.

Yup I've been a big fan of Breaking Benjamin since the first time I heard "Wish I May" from the Saturate album. I think it was in a movie I heard it and proceeded to search for the awesome music. Then I found out that they were also in a bunch of other stuff including the Halo 2 soundtrack.
:rock :rock Great thread!!! gonna burn a CD to jam to when driving.

Great band, I got into them when I heard them do a cover of my favorite band Cold.

I really like Breaking Benjamin. My favorite CD from them was "We Are Not Alone."

Awesome band. One X is one of those albums that I can listen through and not get sick of their music. Haven't heard Three Days Grace's follow-up album other than their 1st single which is pretty decent.

I'm not a Frat boy or a UFC fan..so i think they suck!

Sorry Badmoon...I still like u tho..even tho u like this band!:monkey3

I think they're amazing. Like Memnoch, I'm another member who lives just outside Breaking Benjamin's hometown of Wilkes-Barre (in fact, unless his address changed, Memnoch lives in MY hometown). My mother-in-law actually used to attend church with Chad (BB drummer) and his girlfriend. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to meet him.

They do get better with every release. Off Dear Agony, I'd have to say my absolute favorites are Anthem of the Angels and Dear Agony. Just utterly gutwrenching, emotional lyrics. Blow Me Away (from Halo 2) is my all-time favorite BB song though. It's practically the anthem of online FPS multiplayer! Every time I hear it, I just want to pick up the 360 controller and play Modern Warfare 2 (since I suck at Halo 3 multiplayer).

My home county isn't really highly thought-off nowadays. There's a massive corruption probe into county government by the feds, and 20+ people including judges, commissioners, prominent businessmen, etc. have been taken down, and we've basically become a laughing stock.

So it really means something to me that such a fantastic band with roots to Wilkes-Barre have achieved something so special and positive.
