I don't see the appeal of this character. His predator armor made me lol.

He was a scavenger who killed 2 or maybe. 3 predators. He also gave us insight on what was goin on with the Predators. The bigger ones hunting the smaller ones. Bad blood feud. I liked his salvaged armor

Maybe it's stress induced weight gain?

I didn't find the character to be all that bad... We don't need every character to be chiseled muscle. He was stuck on that planet for a number of years and was totally off his rocker... perhaps he put on a few lbs during that time? It's not like he's getting a fantastic cardio workout while being stuck on some ship, trying to avoid any unnecessary attention.

I love the scene where he does that quick little jump up the step when he's leading everyone to his hide-out.

Anyway, his character sucked. All Fishburne's fault. He was cooler in the script.

Yeah, it was wierd reading the comic prequel where he was a pretty cool grizzled and hardass suvivor-type, and then see the film where he was a wacked-out looney toon.
