Joannie Rochette won Silver?..i did see her performance and she was projected to get Bronze i think, there was one last skater to go and i walked away. Wow..her mother just tragically dies at the games and she kept it together and pulled it off almost flawless.

And using Eli's logic....Canadian women should have more bulk due to the cold winters up there and stronger legs trudging thru all that snow....:lol You know he really is "SPECIAL".

I was joking! Ahhh whatever. I don't deserve this. I am going to do school work and _____ to myself.

I wished I could give her a big hug. Seriously, nobody should lose a parent at that age or any age, and yes I know, sooner or later we will lose the ones we're most closest too.

Unfortunately we lose sight of what we have now. I am so proud of her for keeping it together and excelling at a high level. I don't even think I could do that. What an amazing story and young woman! I really am proud! To heck with Go Canada Go! Go Joannie Go!

Man I am crying now from seeing that Joanie pic. I would hate to lose my mom! What a gal! She's one to inspire!

I cried too when I saw her perform the other day. It's hard just watching her skate. I'm glad she got a medal in the end.

It's hard not to be so emotional for this girl. It's a wonderful thing! It shows a strength of character. Her story along with Clara Hughes are some amazing stories we can take from these Olympics! :rock

Who'm I kidding? I taped her performance, so I'll probably need them when I watch it later today. :monkey2
