Relax excite bike, i do feel for the guy(and family) and the fact he is not going to be doing what he is so passionate about doing anymore.

That being said..I just don't consider this graphic footage,it was not a messy death(thankfully) but, still slightly hard to watch for some sure. The pictures taken while they were preforming CPR..ok thats something maybe not to show but, its not something for people to complain about, we have seen this sort of thing over and over again, now because its the Olympics people feel the need to river for the sake of rivering, people love to gossip and complain in this day and age for the sake of being a care bear, for example Twitter, i don't care what you are doing or where Tiger Woods is, or what the Jonas brothers had for dinner yesterday. People take every little frigging thing to heart.

Graphic to me is more like the beheading vids i watched a few years back, or something on gore gallery or Orgrish.

I don't know, I'm not really into the Olympics, especially the winter ones. I mean, how many countries in the world even have a chance?

Sports like luge and curling seem especially stupid to me... Condolences to the Georgian athlete who died, of course, and his family.

I don't have a problem with the Olympics, I'm just rather indifferent to them. What I really hate are the "Olympics protesters". Seems like there's much more in the world going on to get upset over than an international athletic competition... :dunno

This I agree with. It seems everyone under the sun NEEDS their 10-15 seconds of fame/exposure these days.

Ugh! I hate those sanctimonious bastards! They actually managed to ruin the torch run here in my city! Free Tibet, No Olympics on native grounds, PETA, etc! Funny thing was, most of them were university students and hardcore granola types!:banghead

Its not graphic enogh for him because there was no blood and guts on the track.
If someone would say A comment like that near me, I would punch him out right out cold.

some people Have no respect at all.

Rest in peace.

Nodar Kumaritashvili

Ok care bear, like to see you try it :monkey2..pfftt, you are really getting horny over this just as much as you do when you mention anything U.S Army.I shared my thoughts on the crash and what i think of the reaction to this footage, has absolutely nothing to do with the athlete and i don't question or disrespect why he choose this dangerous sport. The track he was on is the fastest in the world and there is debate now as to question, is this track/sport too dangerously fast?.

SOLIDSNAKE, for you my friend.

OK... Posts have been deleted and infractions have been given. Let's respect different opinions and keep the personal attacks/insults out of this.

Thank you.

Back to the real games (not involving the internet).

the ending was kinda boring and man ! where was the security arround gretzky. I dont think he was enjoying him self and the hole crane malfunction. wow ! come on guys.

ohh well.

Let the games begin.

ohh man when I first saw the footage of the crash of the georgian ludger.
My god my and my wife had tears.
so shocking. I cant belive they showed that on tv.
man ! no barriers arround that turn. I cant belive they never thought of putting barriers there or padding arround those pillars.
they will now. sucks it took someone death to change it.

REST IN PEACE.

Padding wouldn't have helped. He was traveling over 90 miles an hour.

The IOC found that the track was not at fault. But I did see where someone stated that the Ice wall should be higher in that section to prevent the lugers from leaving the track in these crashes. I mean it makes sense seeing as how the luge speeds have increased.
