A 1/6th Buck Rogers! From GoHero? Based on the 1920s comic strip and not the ultra-cool/campy 80s TV show?

Buck Rogers 1/6 Scale Figure:
Of the many iterations and derivatives of Buck Rogers, never before have the classic designs been captured in a 1/6 scale figure. This limited edition, fully articulated figure will come equipped to defend the Earth with a die-cast jet pack, working visor, removable helmet, a scale version of the amazing Atomic Disintegrator, and more!

I dunno. That custom Les did of .... the name escapes me.. it was for Bob Burns. If they look anything like that, I think they would be awesome.

Don't get me wrong, the classics will kick major ass... but I grew up with the Gil Gerard show. So, for me figures from that series would be awesome!

I too remember Gil Gerard from the... how can I put it nicely... ***** 80's sub Star Wars, sub Battlestar Galactica, TV series (don't get me wrong, I liked it, I even have a full bubblecard set somewhere to prove it) but I also grew up watching the old B/W Saturday morning Buster Crabb (he also played Flash Gordon), so I'd actually rather see the old B/W figures more!

Yea, that was my point. The classic could be cool, but I'd have prefered Gil.

Yes, because with Gil you also get...

I'd also like to have a 1:6 Gil as Buck Rogers. And that Grey pictures brings back memories. I sure had a crush on her when I was growing up.

Yep, I have to admit I had a crush on her as well... even carried over to her being on Silver Spoons.

It could be done. There would need to be enough interested parties though.

As would I... but more specifically...

See where I'm going with this?:monkey5

But seriously, I'd love for SIDESHOW to do a "Classic 70's/early 80's" sci-fi line. BSG, Buck, Space 1999...etc.
