A line of 70's/80's sci-fi characters as well as 70's/80's cops would absolutely ROCK!!! :rock2

Now THIS is the William Shatner we need.:D

Well, he was Hooker longer than Kirk... And the TJ license would garner us a James Darren from Time Tunnel and a Richard Herd from "V" , not to mention Heather Locklear!!

The ideal body for Deering would not be a Sideshow though. Maybe a Yamato.

Well, there are enough talented people here that we might be able to get enough folks together to get some classic 70's/80's sculpts, aren't there?

Here are some updates:

SDCC EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT:

To celebrate 80 years of Buck Rogers, Go Hero will offer 80 hand-made "proto" mini Atomic Disintegrator Pistols! Each plastic mini-gun is a perfect 1:6 scale of the original pistol, literally cast from soft prototyping molds, assembled with clear red chamber window, and painted gold + black - ALL BY HAND! Each gun is packaged and hand numbered for $25 each.

And the financial damage on Buck: $175

-Not terrible, but pretty high for an untested 1/6 company. The proto looks to be well worth it, but I'm worried that the final product might not meet expectations.

Well if they got rid of his gun, he would only be $150

i don't know. DID's figures have metal guns and parts and leather and they're only $60. having a metal helmet and gun and an LED isn't worth another $120. i could care less about the wooden box. go hero makes some nice designer toys but 1/6 figures don't garner designer toys prices. pass big time. i'd think about it if he were $80 or below

"*ATOM-EDIA contains an internal MP3 device.
Listen to episodes of the original Buck Rogers Radio Show.
Connect via USB to download more files."

This sounds pretty cool.

Yes, but this will be more limited... and some designer 1/6 figures (DIG and Apexplorers) are more like $200. So, for me I really like the figure and would love to have a classic Buck Rogers so I can rationalize the price.
