After watching some of TWS last night on FX, I really wish the body on this figure (SS) was like the CA Cap. To me, the proportions of that body are near perfect. Chris Evans isn’t a bulky guy but has a slim, nice muscular physique. After seeing his frame in this suit and looking at the CW body the and EG proto body, I definitely think the upper bodies on both are a bit too bulky and boxy looking, with a lacking discernible slope at the traps.

If they redid this figure with a body nearly identical to CA Cap, that would be the consummate Cap figure for me. I’d also actually even prefer the gritted teeth sculpt more on that figure, than I would on the CW one.

Just got today. Liking what I see.

Finally. Scored a Concept Cap body, peeled off the internal padding on the shoulders and squeezed the arms down as much as possible. No fat suit underneath, nothing.

Painstaking effort, even ripped my fingernails from my flesh. But I think the result is decent, quite happy with it. I can die happy now.

This is exactly what I want to do but I'm certainly not trying to rip my fingernails off to do it.... what happened?

Looks great! :clap I saw someone else do a Concept Cap body mod, and this looks better than that turned out (removing the shoulder padding may be the difference).

I'm personally happy with my IW Cap body mod, but it's always nice to see other people's work on this figure. Stealth Cap gets a bad rep, but it can look really good with some work.

Pushing the arms down the sleeves required some significant force. I couldn't grip the shoulder section to avoid damaging the decals, nor could I use any tools. So when you use only your finger tips to push a small area repeatedly with force... well, things happen.

Thanks! Yes, removing the shoulder padding makes a difference. It hugs the arm a bit more, and the shoulder bulge becomes slightly more pronounced.

The body for sure leaves much to be desired, but this is my favorite Cap suit. I still have the figure for that reason, despite the lackluster body. Putting him in a somewhat dynamic pose though I noticed kind of conceals the poor body proportions a bit more as opposed to having him stand there in an inert museum pose.

Dude I never saw this reply and I appreciate it... sucks but it seems a bit outside of my ability having larger hands but that looks so incredible that I may just give it a college try.
