Hi guys

Here is the "First Look" video of the Robocop Battle Damaged with Alex Murphy prototype at Secret Base Hong Kong on 18 Oct 2014.

Release date is Q3-Q4 2015 from Hong Kong, so USA/UK collectors can expect this end of 2015 or beginning of 2016.

Sideshow Collectibles states on their website that this has a release date of July 2015, possibly in an attempt to secure more pre-orders from collectors by stating a false earlier release date.

Would you say this double pack is a good price as it works out to be around USD $220 per figure?

Enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

A true masterpiece, I'd say its the best 1:6 scale figure set ever produced:thud:

BTW here's a helpful tip for you, if you click the film strip icon at the top of the posting area you can add the link in there to get the video to display on the forum like this:lecture

I feel like the should come with a few coins....at least some change back!!! Such few accessories for what we are paying is very much a turn off. I'm looking at these in disgust rather than excitement. Something is wrong here. I'm not always this way. All excitement with Chewbacca!!!

The accessories are fine. I wouldn't have expected anything more from ht to be honest. Murphy looks great in the video and so does the battle damaged Robocop. Looking forward to this release.

On SSC it is USD$ 440, which works out to be USD $220 each. Surely $220 is SUPER CHEAP?!?!?!

How much is spider man, thor, loki and non die-cast figures from SSC?

Surely they are around that price or a bit more right?

The Skull - Thanks for the tip, appreciated. I am a newbie on forums. I don't have that much time, just a few posts here and there.

Im looking at $295 for the single BD version. No die cast, No sound feature, no face plates, same stand, same hands, same guns, retweak of body...$5 cheaper than regular? It just doesn't calculate correctly. If you want to "dot the i's and cross the t's" then if HT included the finer details (i.e. baby bottles) then why not the drill and battle damaged helmet accessory. And change up the stand. We are paying $300 here where's the creativity!!

$254 would have sounded better

In the end I will be getting this piece but half the excitement is already gone as I know I am paying WAY to much!!!

I think with this figure your paying for the detail on the figure itself rather then the accessories.

Thank you for posting the video, I cannot wait to get these
I'm not sure I wiukd call them super cheap, some what reasonable considering the rising costs of these figures
Either way, I preordered day 1

Yeah, a little disappointed HT did NOT include the drill or BD helmet/head ( now I'll have to pick up a BD helmet and face plate on ebay) and that stand looks ridiculously cheap -- however, great piece and I had the RoboMurph on PO day 1.

Oh, also why no die cast to complement the RC Fig?

Despite it's horrendously inaccurate head?

Thank you for posting this video. Yes I too want the regular battle damaged head, but hot toys is a business, and they understand how most collectors think; they will buy both regular (or regular parts) to complete every look. Smart on hot toys part, but sucks for us.
