In order to keep this thread of "awesomeness" going, let's start back with Season 1.

One of the most memorable moments for me in Season 1 was in the episode titled "Angel." The scene that stands out specifically was at the end of the episode when Buffy finally gets her dance with Angel, and it's where Angel and Buffy first kiss. Towards the end of their dance, the two realize a relationship would never work.

Then the dialogue:

Buffy: You okay?

Angel: It's just...

Buffy: ...painful. I know. See you around?

And as they part, the camera pans down to Angel's chest. Unbeknown to Buffy, her cross pendant has left him scarred. The screen fades to black as the episode concludes.

That was one of my favorite scenes of all-time, in part because of the song playing in the background. Simply perfection. The meaning behind that scene was merely a prelude of something great to come. :monkey2

I didn't watch the whole series, or even most of the show.

I did watch a handful of episode, one that stood out to me was a high school graduation when a mob of vampires attack, then all the students whip out weapons and start a big fight. I remember I just start laughing out loud because the premise seemed so ridiculous at some level.

I imagined being approached at my high school graduation.

"Look man, it's going to be a graduation and a mob of vampires are going to attack, I want you to show up and hide this giant mother^^^^^king crossbow under your robe and whip it out and cap some vampire in the dome when he gets really really close"

It was entertaining though.

Thanks for posting, Gekko.

That was from the season finale for Season 3, titled "Graduation Day." (There was a Part 1 and Part 2.) An awesome scene. Great choice. :rock

I have to ask though: Why isn't Becoming Part 1 and 2 on list?

Just plain forget it sadly. :rotfl

It's a great two parter of course. Weird thing is recently I've realised that as the years have gone on I've found myself loving AtS just as much as BTVS, if not more really.

Angel certainly held its own. There's no doubt about that.

Nah, Its all about Angelus in all of his Evil Glory. Speaking of which Ihate ho she was rated no.1 Buffy vers Villan, she was good but it should have gone like this.

1.Angelus
2.Mayor Wilkins
3.The Master
4.Glory

Angelus Rocked.

Angelus-"Dear Buffy, how to send my regards..."
Spike- "Why dont you rip her lungs out, might make na impression."
Angelus-"It lacks...poetry"
Spike- "Does'nt have to, what rhymes with lungs?"

Or the part after he ills Miss Calender, and willow and Buffy get the call from Giles, Angelus is sitting there looking through the window smiling, he is just so evil.

One of his other BAD momments was after Buffy tells Joyce to watch out for Angel, and as Joyce pulls up Angelus is waiting on the lawn, She tells him to leave Buffy alone and he says,
"I just cant stop thining about her since the night we made love"

He is just a trouble maker.:)

HL2

"Enemies" Season 3, Episode 17.

Mayor: "I see your admiring my letter opener"
Angel: "Actually I was thinking of stabbing you through the heart with it"

----------------

Or Wilkins be come invincible and MR Trick unleashes th Vamp on him to test it, and afterwards.

He is crossing it off of his to do list, and you read "haircut", "PTA meeting".

"Im feeling chipper, who's up for rootbeer!"

Xander is probably my favorite character on Buffy. I love what he represents in the show to the group as a whole. And this is my all time favorite line of his.

"They'll never know how tough it is, to be the one who isn't chosen. To live so near to the spotlight and never step in it. But I know. I see more than anyone realizes because nobody's watching me. You're not special...you're extraordinary." Xander

Season Seven

How did I know you were going with the scene where he does the pep talk with Dawn...

And Mr. Harris is full of great quotes. He was one of my favorite characters on the show as well.

*Looks at own banner* Well my fav's are Spike and Angel. If I had to choose just the one it would be Spike. "I may be loves b*tch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it." :lol A magnificent little character.

After that I'm very partial to a bit of Giles, Wesley and Cordy. Wesley's story in particular had me riveted through all the seasons of AtS.

Heres a couple from good old spike from season four :D

"I hate being obvious. All fangy and Grrr! Takes the mystery out"

"And I'm just supposed to help you out of the evilness of my heart?"

Season Five- One of my favorites of Spikes:

"Death is on your heels, baby. And sooner or later its gonna catch you. And part of you wants it. Not only to stop the fear and uncertainty but because your just a little bit in love with it.

-Spike :rock

nah. the best Xander line is in the 3rd season episode "Dead Man's Party" when he's beating that zombie with a golf club or something and he says "Man, this sucker wobbles, but he won't fall down!"
