I'm annoyed that they are retiring the line with an alternate version of a character. I have no issues with another Lorne being offered, but ‘why oh why’ did they do it as a 'final’ offering? Where the hell is Wesley? If the line is dead it should have ended with him!

As Wesley was a long term cast member of Buffy as well as Angel he would have been an ideal closing figure. But hey, lets not let fan pleasing sentiment get in the way of the mighty $.
