That's the best resemblance of Chewy I have seen so far, especially the head sculpt and the coloring. Well done, brother.

Here's an update on Chewie. Head hair is a WIP, of course.

The neck is done, and I should have taken a pic of the back of the head as I'm working my way up. The mustache and spot between the eyes was just a bit of a test.

Do you have any up-dates mate

The holidays have just been too busy for me to work on him. I have gotten a bit more hair in around the neck, so I'm close to going up and around the head.

Just got the body in finally and it is soo tiny (skinny) like anorexic thin , the right height though only like a cm off from the height of the 12" figure. once lengthened he should be the full 14" from head to toe. to give you an idea how small he is if you but the body behind that narrow shoulder tt body it becomes invisable

Sadly I can't fur him until summer got to much on plate with seamstress gigs.

thanks it was a lot of work as you are finding out. the head is the hardest part it took me almost two years to make. im still tweaking him that`s what takes so long not rushing the project

The main issue I'm running into now, with mine, is coloring the hair. I used simple root coloring and that worked until I tried actual hair coloring. Then it all washed out. Next I'm going to try shoe polish.
