Re: Building our Hot Toys display, drywall buildout

That looks great. Figures really pop and WoW didn't know you had that many customs. Hope to see some high res photos.

Here are some finished photos. I actually still have Catwoman and Scarecrow / Demon Batman put away somewhere and haven't added them just yet.....

Here is my whole office, with custom built cabinets that my FIL built from scratch (he made all of the cabinets in our house, dude is ridiculously talented).

A closer shot of my desk area with my computer, and the new shelves. The LED lights look brighter here than they do in person, and they are dimmable. I've found that running them at 50% at night looks good.

Full shot of just the shelves, floor to ceiling.

We spaced out the shelves so the 2nd one from the top (the one at eye level) was about 20" high to accommodate Hulk and Iron Monger (which I am getting for Christmas). I knew all along that shelf would be Iron M an and The Avegners.

I decided to combine the two and have a little fun. So at the point where IM meets Avengers, there is a table with a TV on it, showing the TV show Super Nanny (you may remember the quote from Iron Man 2 where Coulson says "I'll taser you and watch reruns of Super Nanny while you drool into the carpet).

So here we have Coulson, just about to blast Loki with the Destroyer Gun. Suddenly he is distracted by an episode of Super Nanny on the TV. He turns back to see it, and in that instant, Loki is able to clone himself and reappear behind Coulson (as Stuttgart Loki) and move in for the kill.

And behind that you have Cap telling Hulk to Smash.

Thanks. All three of my Deadpools were built with heads from Ashkanls and suits from Tony Mei here in the forum. I can link to the threads for those later if you'd like.

Great pics! Really impressive!

What did you use for ghost riders chain?

Thanks guys! I put a very small piece of wire through the chain so that it is posable. Just pulled it out, 24 gauge steel wire. Bought it at Lowe's I believe. Just wind it through the chain, it's very thin but rigid enough to pose the chain however you want.

The figure alone is pretty cool, but the Hellcycle...amazing. the two together is one of my favorites of my collection.
