OMG, how awesome is this!? Ming and Katie talking about what they knew (or didn't know) about Luke's return in the Mando S2 Finale!

And for those of you who know me well, it's a resounding YES from me on both accounts....

That's great!
Still wish they had repurposed that false Plo Koon leak, and art deception idea they circulated, (apparently even to their own actors), and still retroactively used it to reveal it was instead Plo Koon who had saved Grogu in the past. (the Ahmed Best cameo was completely lost on me)

Just as random yet a more interesting reveal would have been seeing an already established Jedi in that time frame, giving them one final heroic act.
They could have repurposed the false leak and art deception, idea they had once put out there, to obfuscate the possible Luke arrival leaks.
And instead repurposed the idea of Plo Koon as the one who saved Grogu in the past.

... I get giving the actor Ahmed Best some kind of redemption character, this was completely lost on me since I didn't recognize him. And it's a meta-redemption, in-story it's meaningless.

Hello there guys!

I have a spare Wandavision Scarlet Witch body (I swapped to a Phicen body), and since it comes with double elbows, I was wondering if I could use it with Bo-Katan.

I have tried to look for an image of the Bo-Katan actual body, but I am finding it hard...

Do you guys know if the body on the left is Bo-Katan's body?

Also, this is Scarlet Witch's body:

Do you guys think this is a good body for Bo-Katan?

Which mods should I expect to have to do?

Thanks a lot! Any help is welcome!

Since I'm finally getting Bo-Katan, thanks to Sideshow's Black Friday deals and the lure of a free Dark Trooper, I watched Reagan's unboxing again...

...and was reminded that, like Koska, she only comes with a flight stand.

I don't think there's anywhere on her that's safe or practical to attach the gripper. Above her belt it's going to interfere with the jet pack; below her belt it's either going to go over the holster straps, or under the straps which will hold them away from her body, and then the gripper will also be over the pleather patches on the hips of her suit.

I gave Koska the Emperor's unused stand since he has his throne.

Definitely going to do the same for Bo.

I searched my collection looking for a figure who I could swap her flight stand with, and settled on the Transport Trooper who happens to use the identical style and colour base to the Emperor's, which is great for uniformity as Koska and Bo belong together.

With Koska her sculpt is too good not to have displayed on the figure, but with Bo I think it'll be the reverse since the helmet outclasses the sculpt.

Just got her as well, except mine is coming from an ebayer that had a great price on her.
After watching that video, just seeing all the paint details has me excited for it all over again. I think she might have more detail than Mando himself actually.
Aside from Din and Grogu, she'll also be the last Mando to join the family - unless I find a classic Boba for a good price. I wasn't really feeling any of the other Mandalorians in the series enough to want a figure of them.
Also, no matter what armor she's wearing, or what series/movie she turns up in in, Katee will always be "frakin Starbuck" to me. lol

As for that stand, since most of Hot Toys outfits have a sort of velcro/zipper on the backsides, wonder if it might be possible to just clip the waist holder underneath the clothing instead? Wouldn't be able to zip it all the way back up, but since her back will turned to the wall it might not be too visible.
I'll try experimenting with it, see if there's a way to make it work.

She's nice, but she's a pain to pose!

The combination of the restrictive suit, the armour and the single jointed elbows makes her feel limited. While Koska is essentially the same she seemed to fall naturally into a pose I liked.

Let's get this out of the way first...

I've never liked the un-helmeted sculpt. Finally having it in hand hasn't changed my opinion. It just doesn't work for me.

The helmet has always been by far the preferable option:

I tried various poses within the limits of what the body, suit and armour would permit. Her right pauldron was a nuisance throughout, continually detaching from the Velcro. For some reason the left one is fastened more strongly.

There's a pose in the prototype images where she has one hand gripping a holstered blaster, but there was no way I could futz her arm that high to get her hand in the right position. This was as close as I could manage:

After several more poses I'm currently settled, but not yet set on, something a bit sassy to match Koska:

Lets hope we'll get a 2.0 for her appearance in "Mandalorian & Grogu". Hot Toys can do a lot better than this first attempt. They recently proved it with their Gideon 2.0.

I've seen a few body swaps on this thread and figured I'd give it a shot as well. The original body is good enough for the most part, but the lack of articulation in the arms are extremely bad.
I remembered I had one of those cheap, TBLeague AliExpress knockoff bodies laying around, so I gave it a shot.

I added some tissue around the waist to make look a little more human. The wrist pegs are a pain to deal with though - the hands still keep falling off. Not sure if I want to do something about it or try another body. The left arm is already worn out on the TBL knockoff and keeps going down by itself. lol
The height is exactly the same as a TBL S16-17 body, but the proportions on this one look a little more natural than an S16-17.

I figured out how to deal with the neck pegs on these bodies. Just cram an adapter into the helmet or sculpt first, then pop it back onto the body. Works surprisingly good.
I also added more scuffs and scratches onto the blue parts of the armor, and used an actual silver paint instead the matte stuff HT used. It actually looks like the armor is made out of metal now.
Overall awesome figure.
