Keep in mind that Sideshow, like most collectibles companies these days, have these items manufactured in China in a factory that they can find to make the best product possible at the best possible cost. As such, this usually means multiple trips to the factory to inspect the final product. This can take time, particularly if what is being produced is crap or unsatisfactory in some way.

These delays, and in some cases multiple delays, are probably the result of multiple unsatisfactory visits.

This is not even to mention other potential delays such as customs, and or port delays.

It's a miracle anything gets produced and arrives in a reasonable time period given how picky we as collectors are.

Anyhow I must profess relief. Dark Rider is due soon and I would have had an aneurism had this dropped at the same time. I am not the biggest star wars fan (unless we are talking expanded universe) but the droids are too awesome.

I just paid my most recent flexpay! Only one more payment to go. Basically only owe a 100.00 plus shipping. Very nice to have the majority of the expense out of the way. This and the Hulk Maquette were my first flexpay options. I like doing it that way very much. It does not sting as much and you get to have a sort of countdown.
