Yeah R2 looks weird on a sandy desert base with his feet sparkling clean. If I get these guys I would definitely add some more dirt and grime.

Yeah its also looks strange that they r in sand but their feet r not deprssed into it. They r standing on it not in it.

Weathering on C-3PO looks a bit better there.

And again, remember guys it ships in to people in China and Japan before it ships to anywhere else, that's why they're out before Sideshow has started charging.

Ha ha how I wish I am at comic con. Nope I am at home. Mayb I am nearer to china. Understand reg Vers r all shipped from China. I m in Malaysia.

Yes I am happy with it. I am really happy with lights in R2 as 3 of the lights is like moving lights that u see it in the movie. What I don't like is to on the lights on c3po eyes u have to open the front face plate which is attach with magnet. Overall I m happy with it. Note. It's light though on both. R2 is complete plastic but doesn't look plastic at all.

Even R2's dome is plastic? Is there a seam anywhere to be seen? Shame it's all plastic, if that is true, but he does look stunning anyway...

Yup d dome is also plastic. Dome has 2 tiny magnets on each side. That's where u put in 3 aaa batteries. The c3po eyes uses 2 button cells. Batteries included.

They do look nice, but full plastic R2, and only three doors that open, etc. has me glad I won't really be pining for an R2 by himself, because he'd surely cost $400, and that's too much.

If u want a 1/4 SW iconic robot guess u hv no choice. Is like asking whether 1/4 boba fett pf worth the price. It also plastic. All the while SW license is high.

the look on R2 is great.. the paint and weathering on 3Po should be better as seen on the prototypes.. and all light plastic .. I think I won't cave in for that price anymore

PS: you are right about Boba.. but this statue has HIGH quality fabric and details all over.. and he had a fair price tag when coming out
