No doubt!

Your custom base looks good with the exclusive. It matches the droids more so than the circular bases Sideshow included. Those things are a joke.

Thanks so much buddy :hi5: I can finally rest now ;) only got a small SW collection with just the Droids and a lonely Stormtrooper PF but looking forward to adding the Boba Fett and the Vader PF's next :yess:

It's gotta be dead weight. As long as it doesn't affect displaying him I'd say you got off easy. Congrats and enjoy em! Take some further pictures if you have time to share.
Thanks. I'm actually gonna try and do a video review of the couple. Will be sharing it with the group of course.

C-3PO & R2-D2 Premium Format Set

Ive searched but nothing found. My question .. Can i fit another PF with these two in a Besta? Somebody has a picture how much space they need? Thanks.

Just got these today. So glad I finally tracked them down. Seeing them in person there actually nicer then I thought. Really happy to finally add them to my collection. View attachment 137629View attachment 137630

Hey sorry for digging this up and for an unrelated post, but does that T2 endo bust look as shiny in real life as it does in the pics? I've seen one at a local store, they had it on some incredible sale, but I don't know whether it's a bootleg or not since it was so incredibly shiny... it was under some lights though tbf

Also, how much does this droid set go for these days, anyone? Might make it my next big purchase once I get enough bling in. Cheers :)

Waiting for these to maybe show up again, given they weren't a limited edition (I don't think?) I'd probably bite if I could get the pair for what they retailed for, but at the eBay prices there's other things (or several other things) for the price that I think I'd prefer.

True, they weren't a 'numbered' limited edition (besides the clean set limited to 200), they were an open edition to allow them to do as many as they wanted. However, I remember reading a while back that they said they likely won't do anymore because of how tricky the QC was with the electronics and 3PO's gold paint. You never know though, Episode VII may make them take the plunge again.

The only thing is that the episode VII version of C-3PO has a left red arm. I also heard from a Sideshow rep that these will most likely not be produced again. I hope they are for people who didn't get a chance to get this. It's a fantastic set.

No doubt. Maybe they'll release the two droids in a larger scale. I would seriously consider getting these in 1:2.
