Call of Duty 5 (World at War)

Anyone finish this on Veteran? I swear you cant kill the sniper. No matter what I do its you wounded him or grazed him. Not to mention the damm guy seems to shoot while moving half the time

That part is tough on Veteran, took A LOT of tries for me to get past that.

I think you need to hit him twice, because I was hitting him with every first shot; and then he would kill me before I could get a 2nd in. But eventually I got in the first shot and "YOU GRAZED HIM", I watched his movement...see where he would peak out and got the 2nd shot and he died and the level progressed.

I am stuck though at the mortar pits mission, I can't get past the part where you have to go through the tunnel and there are guys ahead and guys above....I think I give up. When a game becomes too stressful and not fun, then there is no need to waste my time.

I finally beat veteran mode. Now I'm doing the trophy's, only got 3 left.

As far as the sniper. I hit him when his arm is sticking out. It takes 2 shots. But Veteran mode is tough, it took awhile.

To get all the trophies, I suppose you have to beat it on all levels?
Can I go back and play my original game to find all the cards?

Congrats man! It is a great accomplishment. Seemed like every step you take while playing Veteran you have to dodge a grenade LOL! It took me many long nights to finish this game off on Veteran when I ran through it...but the feeling you get when you see that Platinum Trophy unlock is indescribable. I'm now working on my second Platinum with Bioshock...and I'm getting close. Then its off to Fallout 3 :chew

That there are...and not only that, but it never fails that right after you get done running from 5-6 nades and you are trying to re-heal yourself that another one will bounce itself right at your feet. I am SO glad I don't have to worry about playing this game on Veteran anymore.

I hear you man. I actually enjoy this World At War more than Modern Warfare...mainly because of the levels. World At War has many places for cover such as buildings and bunkers to duck into, not to mention that there is alot of debris in the open to hide behind when you come under fire...Modern Warfare was just lacking in this department and I hope that they take this into consideration when they release the new one.

I am going through the game on Veteran and it is really tough...

I am currently on the last level of the game and am having a hard time. I cant give up now though... (especially knowing that there are 130 points waiting for me)

I couldn't get far solo mode, not because I couldn't but because it was just so boring to me.
