It's only like a demo, except you can play online. It's not like they remove demos after the game comes out. Back when Star Wars Battlefront II was about to come out I played the beta untilI finally bought the game.

Oh I have been apart of many betas. Demos and betas and two totally different machines. 99% of the time the beta closes before the game ships. How could you log into the beta and expect to play others that have bought the game already?

You would be playing other people on the Beta, not the full game, just other people who don't have the game yet. It wouldn't work if it was beta people playing people that have the game since they'd most likely be different versions of the game and there's the limited content of the beta.

I am a huge fan of WW2 games and I had the chance to play CoD5 last night.

my thoughts...

like how it is set up like Cod4

graphics seem less impressive than 4

love the dogs

HATE HATE HATE Kiefer Sutherlands voice over... seems like I am playing a decent game and listening to a bad episode of 24 at the same time.

I will definatley be picking this up next week but I can still see COD4 multiplayer staying strong and not dying out like COD3

I still like the game a lot. Mainly because they kept the COD4 stuff in there.

The only criticism I can give is that the weapons aren't as powerful as the ones in COD4, and while I guess that can be expected since it's WWII, it's not something I like.

Also, there's glitching problems in one of the maps--I don't remember any of the names, but on the one with the tanks I've seen other players somehow go under the terrain geometry and then shoot at people from there. Doing that makes it so you can't be shot at, but you can still shoot other people. That was a problem with Star Wars Battlefront II (a lot) but I'm surprised to see it in a game like this.
