I ended up playing some last night. After figuring out the game and realizing I can't see everything like I would normally in a 3rd person game, I finally got the hang of it. I LOVE IT! Can't wait to MP with friends today.

I just started playing last night. It's been a long time since Ops 1 so I'm a bit rusty. These new maps are horrible imho.

I actually like the maps. Much better improvement over MW3 but thats not saying much I just wish Nuketown was part of the party games list. Gun Game on that map is a blast.

I think these maps are decent for the most part. Cargo and Yemen suck out loud, but the rest are ok. I hated MW3 maps. They were like playing inside a rubik's cube. Way too complicated and no flow with a couple exceptions of course.

I still don't get the Nuketown obsession though. It's a gun fight in a phone booth with a guy spawning right behind you and grenades falling from the ceiling. I understand the guilty pleasure aspect of it, but I get the feeling that some guys could play that map and only that map until the end of time. Don't get it.

LOL, I don't doubt it myself.........kinda getting back into FPS, but its all Halo 4 for me. Considering the MP is dead on CoD, technically I am playing too

well, i got a good chance to get into every aspect of this game. i can honestly say that it is 50x better than the first one. i really like it a lot. the first one was a dud IMO. zombies is exactly the same if not so more frustrating, but the campaign so far is pretty awesome. i also liked all the maps in MP except for cargo, but i didnt really get to play that one enough. i thought the futuristic weapons thing was going to ruin it but they seemed to pull it off really well. so far its as good as mw3 if not better. i think the new styling makes it way more interesting. it definitely doesnt feel like a cod game though which isnt necessarily a knock, its about time they changed up the formula a bit.

Hey big difference IMO if you do turn your connection from normal to best, I definitely recommend it if your got decent broadband. I had my 1st proper few hours of it since finding out about it & now I'm having great fun. I like to play rush & flank around the maps it doesn't work playing like that if your lagging. I'm constitantly pulling of drop shots now were before playing with the normal setting I was losing a lot of the 50/50's only to see on the Kill Cam that I hadn't even even pulled a shot of.

That's the biggest concern with MP - super small campaign, most players never finish anyways, so the Devs don't put as much time/energy into that

Ha I never bother with campaign. Straight on to MP for me
