I ended up playing some last night. After figuring out the game and realizing I can't see everything like I would normally in a 3rd person game, I finally got the hang of it. I LOVE IT! Can't wait to MP with friends today.

CoD2 on PC was pure fun.
The only gun I used was the bolt rifles. Never had so much fun in a game. Plus the maps were pretty awesome.

I'm struggling to get a consitant kill streak going on BO2. I can't quite understand. Sometimes I feel like I've put a whole round of bullets in an enemy only for them to wipe me out with one bullet.

Yes it is the lag. Hopefully it will improve but in most the games I played the other night I had this happen quite frequently. I have great internet upload and download speed.

No I just did the thing I should of done straight away & Googled it. I've had a high KD in every COD since MW1 & I've always done well on 50/50 run ins to suddenly hardly ever winning any but turns out Activision have try'd to make it fair for the ones with ****ty connections by trying to compensate there lag which is good for them but bad for the ones with good connections. So what you do is press X on the menu were you decide to play Core, Hardcore etc & a connection option will come up with the options of normal, any or best. & then obviously select best. I knew something wasn't right
Blackops 2 is based on ping..Lag Compensatation was MW3. Either way its going to lag at some point.

you cant complain about hit detection or lag here. "he'll" get upset and say its your fault and insult you. were dealing with a real fanboy. good luck.

This might be my favorite CoD since 4, but the community as usual sucks. This is some of the most blatant and low down camping I've ever seen. Guys literally sitting in corners, guys hiding on top of buildings, boxes etc hoping someone will run for an easy kill, whole teams ignoring the objective while killstreak after killstreak rains down.
Come on, man. Get out of those dark holes and mix it up you selfish pri$@s. Daddy's got you. If you die in the game, you don't die for real. It's going to be ok. I like to play stuff like Domination and the occasional Hardpoint, so when I get shot in the back by some tool who's hiding in a corner nowhere near anything going on, it drives me bananna sandwich. It doesn't help that there's so many perfect head glitch spots. Treyarch went a little overboard with those. Every map is littered with little walls, boxes etc that give players perfect headglitching opportunities.
Game itself damn good though. When you're not lagging, this is a really solid shooter that's fun...when you're not getting noobed by campers anyway.

I am enjoying the campaign. There was one mission I failed and it asked me if I wanted to try it again, or move on. I moved the heck on because I HAD NO CLUE what I was doing. Lol. I hope I can go back to it once I've experienced more in the game. I was so lost.

I think failing a mission like that can actually change the outcome of the game. That's why they give you the option of retrying or keeping the failure.
