What FPS doesn't take 6-8 hours to beat?? Reach took about that long, MW2 was about the same. Try it on Hardened and follow it up with Veteran for the ultimate challenge. Or just become an achievement whore like Josh.

Or just play the zombie maps. Only thing that matters in this game. :D

Ah no I'd still get it. I had nothing else to do after I got home so I just played. It took about 6-8 hours honestly to beat it. Wasn't feeling good so I just wanted to veg out.

Well, like I said above I didn't have anything else to do yesterday and like Dino said its like a good book. I didn't want to stop. I was having a blast playing the game that I didn't want to walk away. I plan on playing through it again on easy to get things I didn't get achievement wise and then again on the hardest to get those.

Not like I'm gonna not play that part of the game again. :dunno

Oh gottcha. All the reviews have been really positive. If it takes about 6 or 8 hours in Keith time that's about a week. :lol So I think I'll be good! :rock

I wish I could figure out how to pick this and Assassins Creed up. Don't think I can swing both with Christmas right around the corner.

havent touched the campaign yet, been tweaking out on multi trying to level up and earn cod points.

My first 2 hours of playing MP i was getting owned like a noob, now I find this game is pretty easy to own people on a regular basis. once you get the Famas killing people is easy. Im not a fan of what they did with the MP5 in this game.

Its not so much skill starting out in MP as it is theres people who already somehow managed to log like a weeks play and have far superior weapons and perks.

I've been doing real well with the M-16 and smokes though, and I love the Tomahawk.

the point of this game is that there really is no "superior" game changing weapons or perks. There's no stopping power, no juggernaut, no stackable killstreaks, etc.

The MP5 has crazy recoil for a relatively lower powered smg, probably because it was way overused in previous games for easy kills.

It's always rough starting out a new COD game. You have to find the right weapon and loadout for your play style. Also once you learn the maps, it gets a lot easier.

I heard from somewhere that black ops multiplayer would allow you to search for games in your own region for better latency. Was this ever something that was being developed and left out of the game? I been searching the menus but it doesnt appear this is available.

Its a great game. The story is awesome and the soundtrack is as well. I loved W@W and they did it again with this game.

I'm getting AC next week. First game was ok, second was awesome, this looks to be great. The MP feature is gonna be sweet.

Thats the thing right now. I've had several games where I did alright but several where I couldn't kill ____. I know that as I find the right setup it will get better so its no biggie.

Same here. Started out pretty decent, then a few rounds were just atrocious. Could've been the map, but I swear every time I saw someone I'd start firing, then I'd instantly be dead. Could've been latency issues. Dunno.

Had several like that last night. Knew I had the drop on them and BAM dead. :lol Been working with the M16 with red dot and silencer as well as one of the other assault rifles.

Really? I must be a 'tardo because I made sweet love to that game. I think I clocked in about 10 hours or so. Remember R E A C H...:monkey2

Has anyone else tried the Combat Training? I've been playing a ton of this leveling up and trying different guns/attachments/perks before spending my multiplayer credits. Combat Training is essentially the same as regular TDM or death match, but you play against bots. You level up the same, earn credits the same, but without all glitches and dropped games. I think I played for a few hours and leveled up to like 21.

I have been playing a good bit of regular TDM as well, leveled up to 17 or 18. I have to say that this game plays a lot like [email protected] better. I'm definitely digging this game.

Not yet but I might give that a go just to see if I can find a setup I like the most. Thanks Mag.

Yeah, I'll give it a shot. I want to work on some loadouts types and such. This will give me a chance to test them before going out in to MP with them.

I haven't beat the game yet, but the campaign has the potential to be the best one yet.

The first level or two of the campaign had me unsure/confused about the story and game structure/pace...and I was starting to get doubts about the campaign. But since that first mission in Vietnam, it all came together and the campaign truly has been amazing so far.

It's gonna be hard to top Modern Warfare's campaigns, but it's possible.

Combat training is a trip, it shows all your friends as the players.

damn what the ____ is going on today. for the past few hours ive experienced numerous 'host migration' wait times, connection interrupted signals during matches, and dropped games and lobbies all together.

Is it me or the stupid ____ing net code?!?!
