I heard from somewhere that black ops multiplayer would allow you to search for games in your own region for better latency. Was this ever something that was being developed and left out of the game? I been searching the menus but it doesnt appear this is available.

Don't know if someone has answered this for you or if you figured it out. But I think I just found the thing your on about. When you are in the lobby, before you select find a match and everything. If you press "select" you can alter the your Party Privacy and Search Preferences giving you the option to search locale (will search for players in or nearby your location before expanding the search) or locale only (search will not be expanded).

I'm using a PS3, don't know if your on X-box or not, but regardless I can't imagine it being different any way.

Wow, the PBR level was so much fun, but I didn't care for flying the Hind, way too difficult to handle with no ability to control your height.

I'm so psyched to play tonight, I really wanna play single player too. I'm only on level 11 though. I need to play a lot more, loving the levels though, much more than MW2. This is the best COD game since COD4.

I really hated WAW, I think the overall story and gameplay here is an improvement over both that, and MW.

I dont know. I only cared about the MW story line. I want the end to that. Which is why I dont feel any intrest in this. I want to continue the story with Soap and Price.

Ok, maybe it's me but is the sound off in MP? Seems quiet. Also being a n00b sucks, the MP5 recoil blows and the M16 is semi-auto. I am digging the single player campaign though.

Nah sound seems to be normal I think. The recoil on a few of the guns seems a bit much but I started using the PBK and got things going pretty well. Using Scavenger, Hardened, and Ninja as my perks. Being a noob is a bit rough as it gets you beat around pretty good.

guns are so weak. i empty a hole mag on some guy and he dosent die.
I am about to go back to MW2.

I hope when i get to lvl 40 and I get the comando/M4 it will have the same power as the m4 in MW2.

i've been lagging like crazy in multiplayer and it's also been quite difficult to find games online. probably because the game just got released?

That was playing up for me last night! It had trouble connecting to a MP match, and at one point, after a match when I then got promoted to lvl/rank 17 and tried to connect to the next match, it would put up some message regarding an error with the COD servers or something and disconnect me as well as undoing what I had earned/done in the previous match bumping me back down to 16. It did that 3 times in a row after a match. It was annoying the hell out of me. After about half an hour though it began to work fine once again.

hardened seem to fix that for me. No way in hell though I'd go back to the glitch fest that is MW2.
