I felt the same. Jeez their sound effects were astonishing though

I don't even recall them, I played the demo about 10 minutes and just hated the way it felt in my hands. I still don't get why people like the Bad Company games so much, they are overall quite weak. Having to rip on MGS4 in one of their commercials, which by far was the better game.

Meh..I never cared for the Battlefield games much. The stories aren't as grand as CoD, and the characters are pretty forgettable. I'll take Price, Soap, Reznov, and Mason over the Battlefield crew any day.

Reach was a great game and story. No doubts there. CoD are fun games but have their fair share of issues. Bad Company does as well but when you shoot (sniping mostly) you have to arc the bullet. Means you can't just shoot in a straight line something that can't be done in CoD.

I did the same. Played for 20 mins and hated it but remember thinking 'WOAAAAAHHH that sounds incredible'. When they won the best soundtrack/sound effects award thing that year, as crap as the game was to me, I still thouht 'very well deserved' :clap

I can't believe some of the negativity online aimed at Black Ops, even my one buddy from work ranks on it, saying he doesn't like much and he liked loved MW2...which I did not.

Sometimes I think when people suck at a game, they put it down. They don't like Black Ops because at times it's not as easy as MW2.

I dont think the game sucks...but I dont find it was fun as MW2 was. MW2 had a better scope to it...and the graphics ruled. Black Ops is fun, and I dig some stuff about it...but the levels are all really crappy, and none of them are as fun as Terminal, or Highrise. I played 'em all, and they're all pretty bland. Either too inclosed, or way too opened. There's not a good balance between the two..

But Villa's alright. :D

I actually like the maps better on this one. It forces people into situations where they have to fight more than MW2. If you're a sniper then yeah the only map to do that really is array.

:lecture I still believe Modern Warfare 1 has the best collection of maps. There were maps for snipers, and there were maps for rushers. I hope they bring some of those to Black Ops.

I'm totally disagreeing with you on the maps. I didn't care much for the MW2 maps a lot seemed like the same map...Just very beige bland middle eastern towns for the most part.

I for some reason tend to like the snow maps more...like Grid, Array, and WMD, which are some of my favorites to play. Jungle, Launch, and Nuketown offer a nice variety with some new scenery.

The only two I don't really care for are Cracked aka the opening level of MGS4, and Havana.

No more old maps, I want new ones. I didn't buy any map packs for MW2 because they were all old ones, we shouldn't have to pay money for maps we have play a bajillion times.

I have yet to use a sniper rifle

I had to in MW2 because running and gunning in that game was impossible, when people were camping like it was no ones business and those double akimbo shottys that could take out from 40 yards away.

90% of the time I stick to Assault Rifles or SMG.
