I was having a blast last night in ground war, we were playing Domination and it seemed like every other minute I was getting challenges done, points after points...I jumped 4 levels in no time.

Jeez I need a new gun, have to unlock that AUG. The M16 is all kinds of crap for my style but when I picked up somebody's AUG - my lord. How unfairly balanced is that thing. All kinds of ownage and it kills with 1 or two hits. C'monnnnnnn level 26
I use the M16 with red dot & dual mags. I love it

Same here but I'm just so used to counteracting/aiming a rapid fire weapon that he burst annoys the crap out of meAlso seems like you've got to lay about 5 or 6 bullets into someone before they go down
That's why I only play hardcore. I'm tired o having to shot someone 8 times to kill them, one trigger pull with any gun and anyone is dead.

Thing is though, I've found in the past that a lot of noobs play HC thinking they are good enough and it's just way too easy. Easier than regular in fact. I haven't played HC on Blops yet though so we shall see.

Sure it's easier to get kills but it's also much easier to die...but it's much harder since you don't get your hud or radar display and can kill teammates. It simulates real life better.

A few of us were playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 last night. I have to say I still enjoy that game's Multiplayer more, I just need to get the hang of it again.

Indeed, its pure grenade spam on that map.
Also when tossing a regular frag, be sure to "cook" them a bit. Thats a big difference maker when tossing, as there ready to go off when they hit the enemy, as opposed to just landing at their feet giving them time to run or throw it back!

I've never played it as I've always been a COD guy but I have to say BO is kind wearing out it's welcome with me.
I brought up switching to playing it with my gaming buds last night and got a mediocre response. I've also been hitting up the guys in the BF BC2 thread about the differences between COD and BF to get some insight.
Really edging towards picking it up, ultimate edition looks like a nice purchase but it's $40. The thing that's holding me back is I'm playing Fallout Vegas and I'm probably only 25% done with it.

I know, I know...sheesh!
I'm picking up the game this weekend I believe. I found it at my local Target, the Ultimate Edition version, for $40 new.
I game with my buds on Tues and Thurs and last night I got bored really fast with COD BO.
If I really like BF then I might sell BO after I wrap up getting a few more achieves and focus on it and Fallout Vegas.
Just want to get it figured out before more maps arrive. I don't want to pay for them only to decide to sell BO.

I could never get into in the demos for Battlefront games...I didn't care for the control scheme, it felt sluggish.
