Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

I created a profile and all to use the free stuff but never upgraded to the 50 dollar full service. I was thinking maybee evryone go t it cause the website has been down and the service. Dont no how I got it but I will take it I used up the double xp time and I leveled up pretty quick.

I do know Founder status had been extended, but I'm think you don't need to pay 50 for that as it's part of the Founder line. I think if you register this month you got Founder without upgrading as they had launch trouble.

Bottom line after reading pages and pages of comments on game sites from people that played both games:

MW3 is the more pick up and play, rinse and repeat, been there done that game for the casual players and people who like to build and track stats, prestige etc.

And has the BETTER single campaign.

BF3 is the one with better visuals, and is more realistic "war" like, with more tactics and intelligence, and what sounds like more mature players and hardcores playing it.

But honestly, I just can't and haven't gotten into a FPS mulitplayer since the Unreal days. And I have a feeling it's pretty much the same formula, no matter how you dress it.

Both are GOOD in their own ways and both have pros and cons. But...it's time to move on from this debate! lol Too many other good games that deserve attention! Skyrim, Batman AC, Crysis 2, AC Revelations etc lol

Well my Nephew (kid) was around mine today and played BF3 he died about 11 times and got one kill, he said he'll "stick to COD as its easier"

But then by the next day his skill went to 8 deaths to about 7 kills, so it's basically a learning process for both.

BF3 is just less about kills and mlre and winning and teamwork so some find it not exciting in that respect, until you learn to love it.

I've played both games and still enjoy COD better. I mean BF is cool and all but repairing tanks and crashing jets got boring lol. Personally the maps on BF are too big on console and not near as much action goes on like in MW3. If i had a badass PC, then id probably enjoy BF a little more. Another thing is that BF doesn't have many modes to choose from while MW has a ____ load. Kill Confirmed being my new favorite mode. But each one is great and you really can't go wrong with either one.

Its still up . i was playing it last week . Alotta weird crap goes on in that game online now , hackers making their own game matches

I spent many nights up to 3am playing MW1 that led me to sleeping through several classes back then. I loved that game so much I bought it for the PS3 and the 360 just so I could play with friends that had it on either.

Yep. It's fair to say nothing has captured the magic of MW1 since. I got it with my PS3, so playing Crew Expendable for the first time was amazing.

In a heart beat I would repurchase COD4 maps for MW3.

Every single one of them that shipped with that game were memorable, many many sleepless nights playing those until my hands were so sore that I couldn't even rub one out if I wanted to.

I personally love the hues. It's so grim and colour-free.

I think its safe to say cod 4 was the bench mark of FPS and for me got the balance perfect for a realistic, fun war game.

It seems that we have found something to agree on. CoD4. It was great. I think in hindsight, the best thing about it was the lack of killstreaks. Just a few and that was it. Made the whole game about the guns the way it should be.

I have noticed that even though there's a lot of killstreaks in MW3, theres a lot of ways to take them out. SAMs, EMP, stingers etc. That has helped make it more about the guns, which Im happy to see. I just wish the lag didn't suck so hard.

Same. I'm not so worried about the choppers and crap now. Seems like everyone has SAMs and rockets to shoot stuff down. Now if we could just fix the campers.
