Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Anyone haveing trouble gettig on 360 with modern warfare 3 mutiplayer the menu really lags for me all the sudden and I cant join any games says cant connect to server or something of that nature just checked my connection and all is good thuis is the first time the game has lagged up on me and will not let me join mutiplayer.

Does anybody get a lot of disc read errors? Every time I start up my Xbox it never reads the disc the first try. I have to open the tray and close it.

Nope. I'd return it and get a new copy..sounds like a faulty disc

Same. I'm not so worried about the choppers and crap now. Seems like everyone has SAMs and rockets to shoot stuff down. Now if we could just fix the campers.

And I agree on having a counter for most air support killstreaks.

I loved how everyone went WTF when I took out 3 of the enemy's strafe run helicopters.

I find spec ops to lag a lot. I guess not many people are playing that mode yet.

I just can't get a good K/D ratio on this one. Don't know what it is. Not to be too cocky or anything but i've been a good player since COD4. I'm kinda thinking the maps don't suit my style, I never stop running round the map for the whole entire game, I can't stay in one spot for too long, not even sniping. There's just too many places people can camp and the maps are a bit cramped. I do usually do a bit better on the bigger maps like Interchange and Bootleg.



Either that or i'm not as good as I thought I was!

That'd be my guest. I searched for a Survival game the other night and eventually gave up waiting. It's best with friends, but none of my guys care about Survival heh.

Youre not alone. Everyone I know has struggled to get good scores like the use to. Fortunately, I've always sucked, so it's not so bad, but I definitely suck more are MW3 than any other CoD to date.

Just beat the campaign. The last level is a b**** on veteran. Totally worth it though

I decided to give it another shot and I'm enjoying it for the most part. The lag is still an issue, but Kill Confirmed is fun stuff. That and I've found a gun I really like the...PPsomethingorother? It's a beast of a smg with almost no recoil and when you combine it with rapid fire, it's magical. Close range people don't stand a chance. It's the perfect run and gun weapon. I'm still getting raped on a regular basis, but now that the crappiness of the maps has sunken in and I get the occasional lag free game, I see the potential.

Yeah thats a really good gun. I use that almost all the time now, its a beast of a gun and I added the range proficieny. Now its almost like using an assault rifle lol.

I'm using the P90, prob my fav SMG. FMG9 on Akimbo is a beast, but I still prefer my stinger more to bring down air support.

I think you just have to get used to the game. I'm a similar player... I hate camping and staying in one spot. But with the amount of campers I've encountered in the game, I've learned to be patient and not run around all the time. I used to hold a steady 3:1 KDR in MW2. I started with a 1:1 ratio in MW3 but as I got used to the game, it's starting to get atleast to 2:1.

Prestiged yesterday, the token unlock to carry 1 gun through the next prestige comes in handy, it's the mp7 witch is a 72 rank unlock, also the two attachment thing with red dot and rapid fire is beast with a sub machine gun

So you can carry over 1 gun when you Prestige huh? Finally, I always hated that in the previous games. I get attached to the guns I have success with, and hated starting over again if I Prestige.

Yeah but u have to use a token, u get one when u prestige
