It may have been my router...although Netflix ran smooth and my PS3 was running fine off the same router. Who knows...may have just been the lobbies I was getting into. I was doing great, just very bad lag...the type of lag where you run around a corner into a building then it skips and you are back outside of the building again.

I know what you're saying. I haven't had that problem with MW3 but I use to with MW2. Unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about connections and routers..whatnot. Not tech savvy at all. I wish I was and could get this game running right. I'd have so much more fun.

As far as the router goes; Step1 unplug, Step2 count to thirty, Step3 plug back in, Step4 ( the worse IMO ) wait till all lights are flashing, Step5 turn on xbox. These steps could be difficult, but if achieved properly, you should have sucsess!

That didn't fix it unfortunately. I'm still getting one-shotted by smgs. I don't know what the deal is. At least Survival plays right.

Timed exclusives are pointless. MS gains nothing from having this content before Sony. Id be pretty annoyed if I was on PS.

Hmm...I rage quit actually LOL. I saw the lag getting worse and said "I'm outta here, Brandon!" I thought I was just leaving the game though. Did you get kicked?

I've played a bit of the single player of COD4, BOps, and MW2. Haven't completed any of the three.

Never played a single minute of COD multiplayer. I'm thinking of buying MW3 and giving the multiplayer a try. In fact, the last combat multiplayer I dedicated any time to was probably GoldenEye007. I was actually pretty good ... but that was a long time ago.

I have the MW2 Strategy Guide and read through some of the multiplayer section last week. It seems rather complicated. Guess you just have to dive in.

MW series online is a very fast paced fps. the key is to know your maps and try to anticipate your opponents moves.


dont be suprise if you get mega owed at the begining but the more you play the better you get.

Yeah, I expect a bunch of 12-years-olds with nothing better to do but play COD for hours a day will have their way with me at the outset. Still ... I figure I can do enough damage as a disloyal lone wolf that I could at least piss a few off. Heh.

There's got to be a way to get some practice in before becoming the newb that is used for target practice.

The one thing I wished MW3 had was the combat training like in Black Ops, it was nice being able to practice sniping without getting bent over in real MP lol.

Got an update, though I don't know what it's for. They didn't fix the striker, you can still shoot people from across the map with it.

The power flickered and I lost the Internet for a few mins. I had been on for a while so it worked out ok.

how the hell do you have a month's worth of play when the game has barely been out 3 months?
