Actually if you really look at the scale of the eyes compared to the eye holes for that mask, I think he has it just right. IMO. Look very closely at the eyes on the head sculpt compared to the size of the eyes and eye holes in the movie screenshot. Looks almost dead on to me.

The contour/shape of the hockey mask, the eyeholes as well as the placement of the smaller holes on the Hockey mask is of Sacred importance. There is one hole of the 3 holes on the left cheek area that should be closer to the other two, while the hole on the right side of the mask cheek area is spaced a bit further out correctly. Luckily we're betting on an artist who is firm on accuracy of all details so I'm sure if any changes need to be made, they will be made.

The "lip" at the bottom of the mask is Genius!
