  2. 78Myers

Might as well start the list -- A must buy for me, if it gets done right by one of the great customizers we have here.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Count me in. Please let mask be removable. Also got to through in there a rubber resin type of material for the skinned face he puts on at the end. I'm down.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I know a tailor who could do the jumpsuit and straight jacket. For the head I've thought about just enlarging the Medicom one with hydrospan or whatever it's called. With the proper paint job it's actually pretty spot on. Could do the same with the facemask, or just give him a blue jumpsuit, or both. I could actually put this together rather easily. I've thought about doing it in the past already. If even just a couple people are interested I could get this rolling.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Count me in, the only head worthwhile I've ever seen turned out to be Medicom sized and won't work with a TT and the jumpsuit I have, I need something in a Hot Toys scale.

Silence of the Lambs based would be preferable.

I think the TTL head is a better likeness, but unfortunately, just too small. It could also use a repaint, but the nose particularly just seems wrong on the Medicom.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Custom Mikey did an incredible repaint of the Medicom that brought out the likeness 100%. I did a subpar paint-up of mine a while back. It needs to be redone, but you can see the potential.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

@Charles- I really don't want to piece together existing heads or anything. The Medicom Lecter was a baby in size. I had it and it was smaller then a HT TT body height wise. I am interested in an all new and fresh Lecter

@MaulFan- Those coveralls are nowhere to be found. I am thinking we should have a tailor do the whole outfit, maybe even with a tiny fat suit (if that makes sense).

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Done that sculpt long time ago...Have to search for it.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I would prefer a sturdy body that will be close in scale to Hopkins' height. He's under 6ft and would be nice to have him in some scale with my other horror figure. But no matter what, would still get one as long as it looks great!!!!

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Depending on the sculptor and whether or not I can create this look from the sculpt I would definately be in

Working on that Dark...Waiting for One to send me pattern for my tailor, But there will be many to go around I promise.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Barlow! He has done some amazing Lecter sculpts in different size scales.

I did see his bust! Looked awesome. Hope he would be interested if you guys think so.

Anyone who wants to be added to a potential list, please post so.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

The thing is, to pull off the different looks you need different color coveralls. The blue ones for the pic Teddy posted and Orange for a handcart version.

The pic elvis posted would be the easiest I think and could look awesome. I would be in for both a handtruck and white clothing version, with a removable face like Papito suggested.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Better witha repaint yes, I'm just saying, I think the TTL head, which I think is a recast of the nice Angor one some people used for Hannibal customs, is closer to Hopkins' features than Medicom's, the eyes on the Medicom are nice, but the nose just always looks off to me.

This is Mikey's repaint, the eyes and most of the head look great, but the nose and mouth area just doesn't work.

I think the best route is a fresh sculpt done right, but of the heads already out there, that Angor or whatever the hell the brand is, is the best one I've seen and when I saw the TTL figure seeming to use a recast of that head, as they're known to do, I got one off eBay but it was too tiny.

Mr Barlow did a great 1:1 Lecter and a lot of folks were hoping he'd do a 1/6, not sure where he's at with sculpts.

I can sort the overalls out it would just be the sculpt for me, if I can create that look with the expression that is choosen I would be in :)
