Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Cool stuff! I love this look for Lecter

It's the classic look. I'd like his mask too, even though film inaccurrate, I love the mask, I have a replica and a costume version and to me it's a classic element of him. The blue jumpsuit behind the glass is the classic look, but the cannibal mask is so unique and cool, it's a must have accessorie. I get why they didn't, but I was bummed that NECA did both costumes but the blue jumpsuit.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Great project!

What abaout a Saturday Toys body as base? From what I k ow it is a little smaller but it is still a good body... :dunno

Does anybody know a page with good reference pics for the costumes?

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

You can pretty well see the details of the costumes from the movies.

I would suggest those in need get a custom made jumpsuit, I got the Saturday Toys one because it looks pretty much right and is already made, but, it's big, I've got mine built on an old TT from Jack Sparrow and it's just too baggy on a narrow or anything smaller. A custom suit would let you use a more appropriate body. I'm willing to live with what I've got but just thought I'd let the rest of you know incase you were going to try the same.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

Can't find the photo, but here is a 1:1 life size we made for a client few years ago...And while I don't have the 1/6 original figure, Put me on the list Dark...I will make my own clothes two versions...Do 2 heads for me ok? If you need the mask done in Flexible resin let me know I think I have the mold and we now have a plastic machine to make parts.

Yes, Lecter's Blue Jumpsuit is tight and neat fitting. I think a custom would be better also.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I'd recommend Alex Lopez, he's great with classic characters and the likeness he does is really good. Plus, his pieces are not insanely expensive :)

I'll put you on the list. I think it would be best to have the sculptor do the mask also though.

Sure Brother..Just a thought.
Thanks, 2 for me...I want to make one in the white and one in the orange.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I just heard back from Nek. He seems interested if you guys decide to go with him. He's busy sculpting right now but says he'll pop in a little later.

Yes, for the sake of making all the parts work together, having the same person do both is ideal, or if someone else has to do the mask, at least get them a casting to make one specific to the head that's done.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

please add me on the list, this is a great thing.

Awesome. I hope he takes an interest in it. Is there any more of his work to post? Not a lot of people have heard of him it seems.

Totally agree with you.

Done. Yes it is a good thing that is long overdue

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

If you need to distinguish, I'm after a portrait and mask.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I'm thinking the sculpt and mask should be all inclusive. Less confusing, no?

Makes no difference to me, I just wanted to be sure you knew my interest was in both pieces. Can't imagine a mask would drive cost up too much versus no mask, but with people having budgets, some not wanting it might be interested in just a head, or making their own mask, the mask is more easily made on your own than a portrait with such detail.

Re: Let's get a Hannibal Lecter already!!!

I'm in... DP could you add me to the list please... Just for the head/mask...shouldn't be too difficult to bash some clothing for him...
