I should have provided some context :clap

Posting some work in progress shots of a custom sculpt. Was originally going to be Superman but decided to make it more muscular and also add a huge oversized flowing cape, the base will be cracked with a dust cloud as he take off into flight.

Still deciding on how to sculpt the face and hands, :huh just playing around with ideas at the moment and then choose some colours for either painting or textiles for clothes.

Any suggestions welcome. :lecture

Welcome mate.
Did you went on purpose toward the exaggerated look and non anatomically correct figure or is this new for you?

Board members here are very keen on accuracy and looking real your sculpture figure is not really the kind of stuff we see around the forum.
Looks either too arty or amateur.

Some can be harsh but i Hope this wont rub you the wrong way.
but as they say criticizing is easy, Art is not.

So just keep it up its by practice that one can get great skills :)

Cheers mate, appreciate the comments - its still an early WIP and far from finished so comments either way are all good, they will only help me decide on the final result. I've been sculpting for a while but am not professional and working on superheros are a great way to practice superhuman compositions and let the imagination go wild! :gah:

The anatomy will be exaggerated though and I'm going more for a comic look rather than realism.

Diversity makes the world go round! :hi5:
