I like the pouch belt too, it's like they learned and did well with Batman's and then went to town on this one.

As for modern, I wish there was a plainer switch out belt without the WWII stuff, that would have been enough for me without the inclusion of the comic style Winged Head. Just like the original Cap PF EX came with the WWII switch outs, I think this PF should have come with the Modern switch outs, but it's a dead point now. I wonder if SS thought about the fact they will have 3 Cap PFs in stock, all in a helmet with strap design and none with the classic Wing head? Nobody likes the Wings anymore, even his comic costumes now are more like the Media versions.
...but I'm still gonna enjoy this one when it comes!

And now that you mention it, looks like nowadays artists do whichever version they want, wings or painted wings.

The constant relaunches put me off of "Captain America" comics at the start of the latest volume, every other year it relaunches, I'm done with it for now.

But I read "Avengers", "Avengers World", and "Uncanny Avengers" which all feature Cap as a main character. Also "New Avengers", which did feature Cap for a while before the mind wipe. Since the start of Marvel Now I guess as he goes into battle he grabs whatever helmet variation is closest to him, lol.

I also now notice at any given point from month to month he might be in the shirt where all of the blue is chain mail, or the shirt where only select parts of the blue have chain mail, like the pic you posted. In "Uncanny Avengers" alone he flip flops back and forth constantly.

Loose consistency, which doesn't bother me for a superhero's costume, you'd figure they'd need a closet full and would try different variations since their costumes get damaged so often.

I just caught up on the infinity story line and cap was very central to that crossover series. Very enjoyable and he was consistently modern then. I do see a crisis in marvel though where the avengers movies r starting to dictate the direction the comics go. I only say that because I have felt there was really great writing in the comic world vs what Hollywood can do

Yeah, it might work better for some, but to me it seems like Cap, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk (all comics I used to read) restart so often with the previous volume not meaning much anymore. But between reading those characters across multiple Avengers titles per month (all 4 of those guys are in at least 2 different Avengers comics per month) I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

I was forced to cancel my waitlist. Got thrown yet another surgery curveball in life... Money went from low-supply to no-supply. I wanted to cry.

Well that sucks bro! Your health always comes first though. This is a hobby of patience man. You may miss out but they will always re-release your fav characters again. Trust me I speak from experience. I had to opt out for a couple of years due to my partner losing her job and it took almost a year for her to find secure work and then quite a while after that for us to recover. I missed out on heaps of stuff but that's life and it doen't mean you can't enjoy the forum anyhow and whisk whatever pennies away you can for the Hulk PF
