I don't know why they didn't go for it since every Cap has been carrying the shield. Even Bowen made one

ya its bummer, i dont use the ex gun at all so it doesnt bug me too much, but if we had the option to store the shield on his back i would probably use it more.

Same here. The gun stays in the box, but I do display it on occasion. I like it, but don't necessarily love it.
