Mine is a joke. The eyes are not straight, one of the white strips on his body they used the white that was on his arm for it and not the off white. His right foot was sanded so he can fit better on t the base, the base had white paint on it for some reason, the peg hole was re drilled but not cleaned up, his belt wasn't fully put together, and on his modern sheild there was silver over spray on his hand. I was told buy sideshow I should maybe not buy from them anymore. Mike told me that. What I don't get is that they sent me this statue and they said it was looked over and this one was more F up ten the one I sent back and this isn't the first time this happened aswell. Sideshow needs to work on there customer service because if not they need to think of good ways to have people coming back after this hole superhero movie boom is over.

Also sorry for my spelling.

SS probably deals with a ton of nit picking a-holes every day. You probably just caught someone having a bad day. If you have legit complaints I can't see them being uncooperative. I think some people just like complaining. I've read some posts on here with complaints on the 12 days of sideshow reveals...and you can't even see the statue yet.

I think Aquamans pose is awful...

Yeah I can understand that but they aren't that nice most of the time when I talk to them. It's almost like a family business kind of customer service. I had a good deal of problems with my statue and by me being told I should shop else were is not good customer service. He also said how I send back everything I get because I am always thinking I would get the prototype. 2 things about that I still own my red sonja PF so hmmm and I told him I know that I well not always get the prototype but I do what something that is presentable. And no lie that is what I really would like. Now I spend $1400.00+ on flex playments a mouth but I don't mined to do everything I have are things I would love to own but even that does = to good or nice customer service. Come On! I never did business with a company like sideshow before. But hell they would like to be number 1 and you are in my book. Mattycollectier has better customer service then them.

My Cap is in his forever home.

Congrats! For as small a piece as that Thompson gun is, it really does add some flare to an already exceptional PF.

no don't think so,but ss didn't mention sent me a base with statue, they just sent me the body.

Wow. Okay, Cap arrived.

And is awesome. AWESOME. I had forgotten about the magnets that hold the pieces together (this is my first PF), and was all of 10 years old when they 'popped' into place. I may have even bounced a little in my chair and waved my hands... :lol I obsessively analyzed each piece as I put it on (the curse of both being a collector - and of reading these forums) and objectively, the only 'flaw' I could find was that my star was slightly off, like the one on dw316's. Which, doesn't really bother me at all. Given the human-made nature of the costume and the twist of his torso, having one star point one row higher than another - well, it's not worth typing any more about, lol.

So glorious. And I have to give a big public 'thank you' to cofphoto for his help in the process as well. I can't say my living space will ever look as awesome as his, but I can say that I now own one Hell of a kick-ass Captain America Statue. Thank you!

:yess:

Looks like you were 'flagged' by Sideshow mate. Not trying to uncover a conspiracy here or something, but I think they will keep haggling when you need replacements.

Yup, sounds like it to me.

Wow, I helped someone buy a Premium Format figure?? Heck this was my first! Guess we joined the club together. :hi5:

Think I'm gonna keep the conversion on the EX and give it a go. I'm afraid it's a return but I guess worst case is I return it and buy a reg if they can't offer replacement parts.

I don't know if I like the gun or not, but it'll nag me too much not having it just in case.

I might not have bought this if there wasn't a gun...who am I kidding? I would've bought it either way, but the Thompson is bad ass. As far as getting someone's return goes I wouldn't sweat it. There are a ton of nit picky bastards out there. What they couldn't live with, you might not even notice. Also maybe money was tight so they returned it. Youre going to love Cap.
