Saw this today in Australia. I loved the changes to his notebook for things to catch up on. We got AC/DC and Steve Erwin from memory. Too quick to see what else. Movie itself was great and a lot **** goes down.

I like how they have made changes to Steve's catch-up list to suit the audience in each country. I wonder if there will be an option on the Blu-Ray to view each scene for each different country.

In the UK, we had;

Sean Connery
World Cup Final 1966 (England v Germany)
Sherlock (Cumberbatch show)
The Beatles

That's from memory, there may have been more!

I know the US version gets;

Just got to watch most of the film on the run and holy crap the amount of cool stuff and name dropping in this film is crazy, like holy crap, why not toss in Doctor Strange, like holy crap, but yeah this film is massively epic in terms of cameos, the twist with hydra was epicness all around, and all the characters revealed as being hydra agents made a lot of sense an explained a lot why i hated then from the start... and holy crap( yeah another one) the consequences of this film will surely carry to agents of shield or what ever the show will be called after this season and i have a feeling that Steve will be the head of the new agency just like he was made to be in the comics, coincidently wearing the cap roger outfit from the comics in this film, so yeah ,who knows at this point whats going to happen but at least after watching this film, we know why hawkeye is not wearing the shield logo on his uniform , maybe the avengers will become the new power team name instead of shield, like everyone becomes part of their operations helping out or maybe hill will end up taking over the new shield as the director... the possibilities are awesome

Just came back from my first viewing.
Pretty good movie, the action is non stop from the get go.
Really enjoyed it. I'm sure I'll be watching this again soon.

Same here. Going to my LCS to pick up my comics and shoot the shyte with the owner (he's a good friend), then pick up my Cuz and see the movie at 8 pm in IMAX. It'll be a fun day. Then on Sunday, I'll be taking the wife and both my sons to see it in 2 D. I just hope the movie lives up to the hype since I'll be seeing it twice on opening weekend.

Masterpiece? Well that escalated quickly ^^!
Its an ok, well produced, entertaining movie.
if you re a fan of the genre/Marvel fanboy chances are you'll probably find it great.
But its nowhere near to a masterpiece

It's a masterpiece of a comic book movie. What's not to get?
Of course if you're one of those who'd compare Captain America to Godfather then go ahead.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier IS a masterpiece comic book movie. It even breaks boundaries into the spy/political thriller territory.

I saw this for a 2nd time yesterday. I enjoyed it even more this time, without all of the natural excitement/worries that come with seeing your hero's new movie for the first time. I was able to sit back, relax, and take it all in. Superb. Now I've seen it again, I think this movie is equally as good as the Avengers. Maybe even slightly better.

I would have gone further, its the Best movie ever put on film.
No point doing movies after this one.
Its THAT good man.

Whats saddens me is that movies who would have been considered décent a few years back are now called masterpiece.
And i dont need to summon the godfather or kubrick to discuss movies.
I judge a movie for what it is no by comparing it.

Im no Marvel fanboy, i like Superhero movies as much as the next guy so it was entertaining.
It could have been really good if they had kept the quality of the action on the same level as the first sequence and had a tighter script that just did not go through the motions.
You know almost everything before its coming up on screen.
That the thing with most of these movies lately they are so predictable.
Hence too long and boring.

I can't go. The weather is terrible here and I can't leave Mom home alone. I took the day off tomorrow because I had plans for all evening today. I'm so disappointed. I just get to sit here and watch the rain pour down.
