Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier
And for those STILL missing the after credits scenes, Marvel has been doing this since their first film. You should all know by now to stay in that theater until the lights come up and the cleaning crew ask you to leave.
They have 2 post credits scene in every movie?
It's not like the guy is is Superman or invincible or something. I was worried at first after I saw the comments from the folks who went to the early viewings. "He falls out of a 200 story building . . . whaaaaaa?" After seeing the movie though, it all felt right.
Anyone that wants to say he's invincible didn't see him take a bullet to the gut or missed the part where his old friend almost beat him to death.
Or read any Cap America, especially Brubaker's run which to me is far and away the best Cap has ever been portrayed, and the movie lived up to it as well beyond what I could have imagined.
I really love how they did Zola. I was worried if they put Zola in it, it would get silly, but it was perfection!!!
So yah Cap has been jumping out of planes and off buildings and everything for like decades. He's not invincible, he's a super soldier with basically no fear and will do anything to save people's lives.
But honestly to others, try not to over think things. Its a movie. Its a comic book movie. Extraordinary things are supposed to happen in these films.
This is a very interesting game of "movie chicken".
I think Marvel is prepared to crash and WB will swerve at the last minute. WB is notoriously risk-adverse, hesitant and run by suits. And honestly, at the end of the day, it's "bad business". If was in the studio, I would let the date hang for a while but once it got closer, maybe late 2015/early 2016 and we saw a clearer picture of the movies coming out and dates, I would move it.
You want to capitalize on the biggest movie audience possible, and it's better to run against NO competition, then it is to run against some...especially a heavy-hitter like Marvel Studios.
Crossbones was pulled out of the rubble.
Superman and Batman were huge cinematic events in 78/89 while Marvel had zero presence in the theater.
Marvel is just responsible for the rebirth, DC did it first.
I'll agree but it's much more than a rebirth. DC has a lot of catching up and intros of newer characters besides Supes and bats. Marvel is totally in the lead when it comes to that, and they will introduce quite a few more characters. I think it took guts to do GOTG. Many marvel comic fans didn't know any of their history. Marvel is really leading the way correctly even though DC had past Supes and bats films. Let's not forget it took sony(Spider-Man) and Fox(X-men and FF) success to get Disney to start with IM, Hulk and the rest of the gang going
I like Blade a lot but I think the reason he isn't immediately included is that although comic book, he's not a "superhero" and most people think comics=superhero. And once again, Blade gets no respect...

The whole vampire thing make it obscure and it makes me curious how they will handle Dr Strange.
How can he not be a superhero? He's a half vampire looking for revenge against the one that turned his mother, all the while fighting a war to keep humanity safe from the things that go bump in the night. And for my money Blade is a better film than either FF films or the first X-Men.
I agree. Blade is a cool movie, especially part 2. The last one on the other left me wondering why they needed to try and make it a team movie guest staring Blade.
Eye candy, both male and female.
Blade Trinity was so bad. It ruined both Blade and Dracula. How is that even possible?
Ryan Reynolds. No one likes him. No one wants to watch him. Even Jeff Bridges can't make him watchable.
