Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I kind of wonder if they tried using his mask at all; if it was an option.
As far as how it's look, I'd probably compare it most to Comedian's, I thought that turned out pretty good.
It's too silly for the style of MCU where masked vigilantes/villains are yet to be introduced (sorry, Red Skull).

Camouflage face paint is a great trick and definitely a way to go.
Guess ppl still can't get over "The Arrow" where it was indeed pointless and stupid to begin with.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Its not pointless and stupid for the dude with the big metal arm to put dark circles around his eyes? That so tactical.

Cocaine with the Vodka, Riddick? :lol

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Butt, holy crap!

Cap just overtook Rio in a very rare last minute change. :yess:

Damn, I just looked it up, that was close. Bet Cap got by on alot of people re-seeing it.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

How so? Just the mass of movies coming out?

I'm happy for you, Khev. I've always liked Cap, but hes never been one of my "go to" favorites through thick and thin. Its gotta be nice to have your man get the movie he deserved.

Thanks. :duff

It really is a great feeling. I remember watching the Reb Brown Cap on TV in 1979 (when it originally aired) as a kindergartener and thinking he was so badass when he took a baseball bat to the beams of a second story porch and made it collapse with all the bad guys standing on it. That and some choice 70's comics made me a lifelong fan which only continued through some of his peak runs in the 80's and 90's. I even went out of my way to rent the straight to video Matt Salinger version. Yikes. :lol

It just didn't seem like he was destined to be on par with cinematic giants such as Superman and Batman. Until TFA and now TWS. :rock

On another note now that it's been out in the States for two full weekends I figure we can open the thread to full spoilers going forward.

can someone clue me in to who those characters were at the end of the credits? What is their possible purpose in a future cap?

hopefully I'm not spoilering anything, cause I think its been discussed in various threads, but its the brother/sister team of Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver, ( one time evil mutants which will be showing up in the next X-Men movie, but I digress as that has nothing to do with their appearance here), but also Avengers, so they've been added here for the upcmong Avengers flick.

U mean the twins???
Pietro and Wanda, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. QS has super speed and SW has reality warping powers by altering probability. They will be in the next Avengers

In the comics they're the kids of Magneto.

The guy with the monacle is Baron Von Strucker, high ranking Hydra officer, very evil lol
