It’s now officially the most expensive single marvel movie they’re saying an estimate of around $450 million budget before marketing.

If the studio is saying 450 you know it’s really 600!

On a semi-related note my Cap: TFA Premium Format with the Evans likeness that I've owned since 2011 has been something that I've been having less and less enthusiasm about having in my house.

What a good run that statue had with you. I think I nailed on mine when Ultron was announced since I was banking on a statue from that movie of Cap but I didn’t like the one and only offering that came out. The Iron Studios one, I believe.

The biggest budget in the history of the world... and look at what we got. It's unwatchable because it is so boring.

To be fair there is a lot of location work, a lot of physical effects plus there are more big name actors in it than typical. But yeah that budget is INSANE.

Carrie and Mark were doing nothing, more or less. Driver and Gleeson were marginal names at best at the time - good actors but not marquee names. And Sydow worked one day.

Who else was in this?


Seems like TPM had bigger names -- Neeson, McGregor, and SLJ... even Portman (not a big name but I was well aware of her at the time)
