Don’t like Falcon at all.

One interesting thing about Falcon/Sam Wilson/Mackie, IMHO, is the Russos managed to integrate him into the MCU relatively seamlessly. Very economically. It all organically made sense A large problem with the later MCU is the infusion of so many characters so quickly, without much development, and without much context to a "large narrative" that actually feels like it hasn't been manipulated by some algorithm to ensure the most money possible extracted from the IP itself.

The largest missed opportunity with TFATWS was, IMHO, not going backwards. How Sam Wilson handled himself before the Avengers. How he got to that place in his life before CA-TWS. And "bad" Bucky would have been interesting. One of the main struggles I see is any practical theme for a modern Captain America, well Kripke's The Boys right now is doing it better currently. ( i.e. being a super hero is not all it's cracked up to be once you look much closer)

Sort of ironic, that the current MCU is likely to shift more away from female leads, slowly but surely, but Hayley Atwell probably has a stronger case as a lead in a new Captain America movie than Sam Wilson. At least in this current conception of them in the MCU. I miss "bad" Bucky. When we first meet him in CA-TWS, he was truly menacing. You could see the stakes and tension raised right away. There's still some narrative juice here, it just doesn't seem like the current MCU is optimizing it. But that's just me.

Or all at once from the director of The Acolyte! :rock
