Movies are 5 months apart, I think there is room to be excited for both. :lol

Saying that i can't get excited because everything pales in comparison to the Star Wars excitement. Once its out and seen i am sure this will become exciting. Just can't be excited for it right now as i normally would have.

No doubt,

The next 12 months of cinema will be a powerhouse for sure especially since it will have SW movies bookending the entire thing.

When one sits back and examines the list of movies coming out between TFA and Rogue One, it literally makes you gasp. :lol

Ummm:

TFA
Deadpool
BvS
Suicide Squad
X-Men Apocalypse
Civil War
Warcraft
ID4.2
Doctor Strange
Star Trek
Gambit
F13th Reboot
Rogue One

:thud:

Don't forget about the new Jason Bourne film and Assassin's Creed :banana

Where is Godzilla Resurgence on this list :dunno:tap

Granted it probably won't get US theatrical release, but it's still exciting for fans, which I thought you were...but...

Any one else unable to get excited about this with Star Wars looming so close?
What's a "Star Wars"? Google showed me screenshots from some old ass Flash Gordon like space opera, can't be right...

Anyway, Captain America series was excellent so far.
There's no need to get yourself excited for something that's already great.

Any one else unable to get excited about this with Star Wars looming so close? Typically i would be extremely exciting but nothing really matters other the SW at this point.

Very different films for me. Star Wars is exciting because it looks like it could be a well done movie and it's great to see the old cast back, but, it's new characters, a story with little known where things are going, and I never felt a need to know what happened post-Jedi so I don't have hi excitement for it, I just want to see it at some point.

Civil War on the other hand, for me, is the next stop along the storyline I've passionately been following for years, I know the direction things are heading in, I'm still highly into where they're coming from, the anticipation and excitement is high because I know this movie is going to add something to my existing enjoyment of the franchise, where I don't know how I'll feel about TFA.

:goodpost: :clap
Very well said. I'm excited for both movies. Star Wars I'm extremely excited for but not as much as Civil War. I definitely love Marvel more than Star Wars but like both :)

Been absent for a while and just read that Hulk will be in Thor 3. Kinda cool that in phase 3 we'll be getting "joint" films with Cap and Iron man in this and Thor and Hulk in that.

lol, star wars.

Star Wars was played out in 1983. The new film reads like a re-hash of A New Hope.

Civil War is looking like a solid third act in an established, well-crafted action trilogy.
It's the culmination of a carefully designed vision, not another reboot of a sketchy franchise.

Oh, and JJ Abrams =

So bring on Cap 3

The Force can go back to sleep (like it's been for 32 years) for all I care.

I know we might not get him anytime soon but I found this piece of art that pretty much changed the blue around to black and pretty much made Bucky Cap. I don't think it looks too bad at all.

Thanks to those posting some good info and screenshots. Tough to find amongst the hundreds of posts of people whining like newborns and jumping to conclusions over a film that's probably not even been edited yet but found them nonetheless.
