I don't know about that. Seems to me, they have two options, and those are rebooting everything at some point, or recasting the roles, thus maintaining the continuity and the cinematic canon.

Time travel, reality alteration, etc.

My son isn't even 2 and likes Hulk, win for me. I don't know want to push what I love on him, but it'd be great if he got into Rocky, my dad and I bond over that and I want th 3 of us to visit Philly some day so I can share that moment with them.
