Yeah it's certainly not a stand alone experience, it's directly coming off of Quiptron and it will probably have big repercussions for the MCU.

But, there's no reason it will have AoU quality.

Worst case scenario, it will be a notch below AoU.

that's a pretty bad scenario.

I hope it's better than AoU. I have more faith in the Russos than I did Whedon.

Make it happen Disney! :lecture

I wonder what budget CW has because CGI already looks better than the one from "Age of Ultra Fail". :lol

Agreed, AOU sometimes looks like there were key sequences they poured their budget into and whatever was left went into the rest.

Probably just a matter of what FX house some of the shots went to unfortunatly. Happens far too often, which is why most movies have inconsistent CGI.

With AoU's budget, the CGI really should have been far more consistent :ohbfrank:

Way too much reliance on CGI in this franchise, I feel like we need more films like The Winter Soldier...

I'm fine with it when it's not noticeable right away. Sure, I see all the CGI in Iron Man now but when I first saw the movie it was very seamless between practical effects and special fx. Watching AoU I was just like "damn that looks fake", instead of enjoying what I was watching. They did an excellent job with Cap's shield toss, especially in the final battle where Black Widow is using it.
